Some advice
[edit]Hello Austincapobianco. I saw your message on Lugia2453's talk page and thought I would give you some advice. Some of the words below are linked to the appropriate Wikipedia policies for you to review.
- In order for your book to have a Wikipedia article, it has to be notable. Notability is determined by significant, non-trivial coverage from reliable sources that are independent of the subject.
- As the creator of the work, you are not the best judge of your book's notability. Writing about your own work is considered a conflict of interest, and using Wikipedia as publicity for your work is expressly forbidden.
I suggest you read Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and the notability guide for books. If and when your book becomes notable for others to write about, someone else will probably create an article about it. Wikipedia is for topics/works that are already notable, not a place for someone to try to create notability for their work. Thanks. --Drm310 (talk) 22:03, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
