Concerns regarding your editing at Antioch International Movement of Churches

[edit]

Regarding this edit of yours, and then this revert, sourced to a blog in Healthy Place, please seriously review WP:PRIMARY: Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published secondary sources, and to a lesser extent, on tertiary sources and primary sources ... Any exceptional claim would require exceptional sources. and WP:BLOGS: self-published material such as ... group blogs ... are largely not acceptable. starship.paint (RUN) 05:44, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this edit of yours, please seriously review WP:UNDUE: represent all significant viewpoints that have been published by reliable sources, in proportion to the prominence of each viewpoint in those sources. Your edit was mostly using primary source material, not reliable source material. starship.paint (RUN) 06:08, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding this edit of yours and this readdition, please seriously review WP:BLP. You wrote that The site noted numerous controversies including accusations of lack of transparency, homophobia, and anti-semitic remarks by pastor Robert Herbert. This are serious allegations regarding a living person. You cited this to an advoacy campaign. WP:BLP says that Editors must take particular care when adding information about living persons ... Be very firm about the use of high-quality sources. All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source. Your source was assuredly not reliable. starship.paint (RUN) 06:14, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
WP:SELFSOURCE Self-published and questionable sources may be used as sources of information about themselves, usually in articles about themselves or their activities, without the self-published source requirement that they are established experts in the field.
The latest edit I had on Becky Oberg was a self source about herself and activities. Even if the source is questionable, it may be used on an article about herself.
Also, check the talk page before any hasty actions. Some issues were already discussed and taken to the noticeboard to discuss and/or were pending or completed discussions.Austin613 (talk) 06:49, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
