Hello Austin19. I'm a little displeased with your attitude at that articles talk-page. GoodDay (talk) 19:32, 24 July 2008 (UTC) As stated a few minutes ago on your page ;-):[reply]

I don't know what you mean about my attitude, but I changed the page according to the informations on nhl.com. I wonder how you can tell about a person's attitude through this, but you will certainly tell me, as you will - hopefully- tell me, why nhl.com is not reliable.

Do as you like on that article, it'll be updated in Sept/Oct anyways. GoodDay (talk) 20:05, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I'm also taking a break from that article, until September (due to ownership issues). GoodDay (talk) 20:12, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't want to do as I like, I never do that - just tell me please, why you think that nhl.com is not reliable. I don't need to update that right now, either as it is surely not worth fighting over the "C"s during off-season! Greets

You dissapear for 'bout 2 or so months, then you return 'just' to fight with me. Quite petty on your part.

It's called "off-season"!! I didn't come back to fight, but you still behave as if only you knew what was right. Why can't you leave the page until the season starts? Or an announcement is made? NOt so difficult. And until further notice, Vanek is an "A". Simple as that!

There's no letters in the roster at the Sabres official website. I've reflected that fact, in the article. GoodDay (talk) 22:37, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Couldn't leave it as it was, could you? I'd bet you a lot that Vanek will wear an "A", if not even the "C"!

Atlanta Thrashers captain

[edit]

Found a source for naming of 3 alternates (Antropov, Ladd & Oduya). GoodDay (talk) 15:26, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for captains

[edit]

As a reminder, in List of current NHL captains and alternate captains, there is a column for the reference(s) that support the list of captains. Since the third and fourth alternate captains for the Canucks are not yet listed on the Canucks' roster page, the release about naming the additional captains should have been added to the article. I've already added the reference; I wouldn't have reverted this edit if you had added the source when you made the edit. —C.Fred (talk) 03:13, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I know that, but the source didn't confirm the captaincy of Henrik Sedin either, but since it was made official, I was sure that in just a few hours the Canucks Roster page would be updated and everything would be fine.

List of current NHL captains and alternate captains, part 2

I was being sarcastic in regards to the New York Islanders' website being reliable. Most WP editors consider official websites the bible for the team source. The Islanders' website has been known to have outdated info if not wrong. It is kind of an insider's joke I have with some of the ice hockey editors. Cheers!
