Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
Judging from the tone of the articles you've created, I presume that you're being paid by Superannuation Funds of Australia to advertise it. I've deleted the The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) article you created as it was basically an ad for this organisation, and Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pauline Vamos also appears to be a promotional article on someone who is not notable (per WP:BIO). Request reason:

Hi there, it says I have been blocked due to advertising/spam and for a profile of someone who is not notable. I would like to appeal this blocking. I am new to Wiki contributions and am keen to make reliable contributions. I have been on the chat forum to understand how I can improve my entries. I can understand how the current entries may sound promotional but all information is in fact true. I would love the opportunity to alter the language used and support facts with further references e.g in the sentence In May 2012, Pauline was appointed to the Advisory Council for the newly established Centre for International Finance and Regulation,[1] an academic centre of excellence for research and education in the financial sector. The Academic centre of Excellence is a technical term and I have external links to support this. This is the link: http://www.afma.com.au/afmawr/_assets/main/lib90013/afma%20-%20afmr12%20-%20final%20-%20121012.pdf Also, there seems to be a gap in Superannuation articles for Wiki. Hoping you can help! Thanks. Audrey George (talk) 5:34 am, 16 January 2013, last Wednesday (4 days ago) (UTC+4)

Decline reason:

Procedural declining to clear from CAT:RFU. You are welcome to put this back up when you have responded to the comments below. Spartaz Humbug! 16:44, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Max Semenik (talk) 08:20, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • You seem to be somewhat unclear about the reason for your block. You say "I can understand how the current entries may sound promotional but all information is in fact true", but you do not seem to see that being true and being promotional are two different things. I also see nothing in your unblock request that seems to suggest that you do not intend to continue to use Wikipedia for promotion. You really need to make that clear if you are to stand a good chance of being unblocked. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:03, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pauline Vamos, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 17:55, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Audrey George. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Pauline Vamos".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pauline Vamos}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 16:00, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
