Hey, thanks for your message. I appreciate you letting me know that a vandal has violated his final warning. No worries, he has been reported. I don't know if you're completely new or not, as someone you seem to know has already welcomed you, so forgive me in advance if you feel I am telling you something you already know. If you see a vandal that vandalizes after his final warning, you can report the user or IP address here. This will alert an admin, who will investigate, and will block the user. Please update my talkpage if you have anymore questions. Nice to meet you. ~Beano~ (talk) (contribs) 05:54, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to your message. Absolutely! There is in fact a way where non-administrators can be granted admin rollback privileges. These users, called "rollbackers" are allowed an extra button to revert vandalism in a single click. You can go to Wikipedia's rollbacker page where you can learn how it works, and how to apply. Note that being granted the rollback feature is of judgment by a Wikipedia administrator, and people with less than 500 vandalism revert edits or with a history of privilege or editing misuse usually won't be grated this feature. If you're inexperienced, you can look into alternative programs and tools here to help you get your experience up. Please update my talkpage if you have any more questions. ~Beano~ (talk) (contribs) 06:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and I forgot to add something that I just thought of now. If you're looking into tools to help you revert vandalism, the one I found really easy and helpful is twinkle. In fact, twinkle has a rollback on it that allows you to do non-admin rollbacks with one click. I've used twinkle for a long time, and I never had the need for admin rollback at all. Just remember to take it slow while you learn it before you pick up speed. It's a huge and fast tool, which leaves room for huge and fast mistakes. I know, I've done my share before. ~Beano~ (talk) (contribs) 06:40, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speed deletion

[edit]

I did check the page history, and as far as I can tell, you created the page. But since your saying you did not, could you direct me at the userpage of whoever did create it? cheers SpitfireTally-ho! 09:40, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK Atosecond, I can see that you obviously don't think you did this. And I'm prepared to let it drop. I was just slightly surprised to find that you don't think you created the page as I was certain that the page only had one edit to it, the annoying thing about this entire process is only administrators can view deleted edits, I find the reasoning behind this non-existent, as if I or you could view deleted edits we could have had this cleared up in no time. But as I said I'll take your word on this SpitfireTally-ho! 09:04, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Error

[edit]

In this case, I read "electronic poop", and made an error. My apologies. Thank you. sinneed (talk) 04:34, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all. The bad was mine. I erred: I was vandal-fighting and saw one where there was none. I do apologize again.  :,( sinneed (talk) 04:36, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes indeed, that is pretty egregious and needs to go. All the best. :) sinneed (talk) 04:39, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
