Warnings
[edit]March 2009
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Hispanic and Latino Americans, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. SamEV (talk) 02:52, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Hispanic and Latino Americans. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. SamEV (talk) 22:16, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Hispanic and Latino Americans. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SamEV (talk) 02:25, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to Hispanic and Latino Americans, you will be blocked from editing. (talk) 04:52, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
Disruption at Hispanic and Latino Americans
[edit]You keep adding original research, unsourced material. The one reference you tacked on it is from a source that has already been rejected as extremist, on the talk page of that article and in others'. I don't expect you to stop, but I'm informing you that if you continue I'll ask an admin to get involved. SamEV (talk) 00:44, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
I saw your edit was reverted [1] all you have to do is find a few sources to place it in. good luck. CashRules (talk) 03:59, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Charlotte Merchandise Mart
[edit]A tag has been placed on Charlotte Merchandise Mart, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Articles for deletion nomination of American Business & Fashion Institute
[edit]I have nominated American Business & Fashion Institute, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/American Business & Fashion Institute. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. SpacemanSpiff (talk) 08:23, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

Slaves
[edit]I have reverted your changes to the words "slave" in several articles. The term is commonly used in both wikipedia articles and most reliable sources discussing slavery. You need to obtain consensus for such a widespread change and need to base this change on reliable sources. Tom (North Shoreman) (talk) 00:48, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- The user is correct to make such changes. The language favors the usage of enslaved verses slaves. It does not require a source because it is basic English. Unless the source specifically says "slaves" the term is enslaved, which refers to a condition placed on some one, and most African scholars are aware of this.Halqh حَلَقَة הלכהሐላቃህ (talk) 17:53, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Brian L. Johnson
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Brian L. Johnson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.tuskegee.edu/discover-tu/tu-presidents/brian-johnson. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:19, 26 November 2017 (UTC)
