Welcome!

Hello, Athomasm, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Sondico, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:15, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sondico requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:15, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A note regarding deletion

[edit]

Note that I have deleted the article 'Sondico' under the A7 criteria for deletion, namely there was no importance or significance asserted for the company. Please review WP:ORG, and if you believe that Sondico meets the notability criteria for inclusion outlined therein I would suggest starting an article in your user subspace using the article wizard which will guide you through the creation process. This will give you extra time to work on the article at your leisure without worrying it will be immediately deleted. Once it is complete it can then be moved into article space. If you have any questions, please let me know and I will be happy to guide you through the process. --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 15:31, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, please note that I have deleted Paul Walker (footballer born 1992), as it was a recreation of an article previously deleted via a deletion discussion which can be found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul Walker (footballer born 1992).--Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 15:39, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I am requesting for this account to be unblocked. I was unaware that I was actually blocked until I saw that I was blocked in 2013 for vandalism. During this time I was at school and would vandalise articles for fun with my friends. This was 11 years ago and now as a fully grown adult I can see what I did was wrong. I only intend to use this account for minor edits to articles, such as spelling, grammar or changing squad lists on team pages. Many thanks Alec (talk) 15:59, 1 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I'm willing to give you a new chance to contribute. Good luck. 331dot (talk) 08:10, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
