GW "misinformation" revert

[edit]

Can you please clairfy what part of the information you removed (apart from the FleazZz rune vandalism) was incorrect in the following edit that you made? http://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Guild_Wars&curid=799262&diff=62322395&oldid=62311426 The data regarding equipment categories seems perfectly correct to me. --Film11 11:28, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Heya. I reverted the lot because it was all from the one edit and I felt that the anonymous user wasn't making the change entirely in good faith. So there was the obvious vandalism, but some of the information from the update was totally outdated (Skill charm necklaces and skill charms do not exist in the released game). Further to this I was considering how the information fit in with the page. There is the equipment page which has weapon and armour information in much more detail and is better set out. Also I'm not sure a list of all the different names for the types armour and weapons actually adds much useful information to the article. Your opinion may vary, in which case you're welcome to put the information back in - without the skill charms.  ;) --Aspectacle 02:44, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Point taken about the seperate equipment article. I guess the information you removed isn't necessary in the article then. Thanks for clearing that up for me. --Film11 19:54, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

GW redraft

[edit]

Thanks for redoing the intro. I like your version better. Just one comment- put the references after punctuation, per WP:CITE#Footnotes come after punctuation. Eric Sandholm 04:26, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Eric.  :) I was trying for the "why should we care?" from the good article guidelines and to make it more descriptive than comparative. I was pretty consistent on being wrong on the reference thing thou wasn't I? --Aspectacle 06:05, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
