additions to Lesbian literature

[edit]

Hi, AshleyMBain. I've made some cosmetic changes to your draft additions. I've got two suggestions before I'd say this is read to be added to the article:

  • Right now you're citing a text analysis paper to make claims like "Lesbian literature falls in the realm of evolutionary works". That may be what one paper said about these themes, but it exists in a fair sized literature. We shouldn't use one text analysis to make broad claims about the genre as a whole. Bring in a few other voices on the subject (at least one, preferably two) and the section will be more comprehensive.
  • The history section includes a lot of things I would put in "themes" or other areas. When did the genre appear? Who were early successful authors/publishers? Has the form changed substantially? These are questions a reader may want answered from the history section.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions or need help. Thanks for your work so far. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:09, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
