question

i noticed that when you sign something, it has a little thingymajigg that says c/t\ and some other letter. I've seen things like that before, and even though i am not new to wikipedia, i still have no clue on how to do that or on how to make your name appear a different color or font. LukeTheSpook (talk) 00:50, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

okay, now i know where it is, but i'm still not sure what all to do to have the talk/contribs/userpage or whatever links. LukeTheSpook (talk) 10:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

whoooo it works. Thank you! [lukethespook] | [t c r] 10:47, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

I have revamped the Fauquier article. If you aren't busy, would you mind revisiting the debate in light of the article changes? Thank you. Protonk (talk) 08:42, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Ha

I think that was a temporary bug in Twinkle, apparently fixed. We'll see.
And Last.fm actually takes up very little of my time because it's so easy to provoke people. That site has the dumbest userbase I've ever experienced. --Closedmouth (talk) 13:12, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Your userpage

Don't worry I am not going to moan about the fact you have copied my userpage! I have actually seen your userpage before you notified me, and could guess it was a copy of mine. I don't mind that you have made it your own, besides, my userpages were inspired by other userpages on Wikipedia, but have made them my own by changing colours, images and other things. :) -- [[ axg ⁞⁞ talk ]] 10:05, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

The font is called Republika, and your may be surprised by this but I designed it in MS Excel 2007!-- [[ axg ⁞⁞ talk ]] 15:45, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
It looks good though (in my opinion), I do use GIMP for most things though. -- [[ axg ⁞⁞ talk ]] 15:50, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Re: editcountitis

Don't worry, apology accepted. It just rubbed me the wrong way because I do try and be conscientious/meticulous at RfA. Balloonman was actually poking fun at me too : ). Happy editing dude. Wisdom89 (T / C) 17:14, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Don't have any regrets at all. You opposed for a reason you felt strongly about, so there is no ill will whatsoever. Yes, I plan on running again in the future, but probably not for another 6 months at least. : ) About the blocking policy, you're actually correct, since in cases of persistent WP:ABUSE and long term abuse a decision may be made to rescind editing privileges. In terms of WP:BLOCK, the phrasing does say what you wrote, but it's so rarely done that if a candidate answered in (well how it was answered at RfA), it's likely they weren't familiar with IP blocking. Thanks for the message dude! Cheers. Wisdom89 (T / C) 17:16, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Philosopher RfA

Hey there Asenine, I just made a rather long, obtuse, and hopefully accurate post on User talk:Gwynand regarding the RfA that you've recently opposed for User:Philosopher. I'm crossposting this to you as you may find some merit in Keeper's longwindedness, and perhaps you'll revisit your oppose in that RfA. Whether you do or not is up to you, no ill-will either way from me. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 18:43, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your civil response (on my talkpage), Asenine. Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 14:40, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Have a crack afd

Hi, Asenine. Thanks for taking Have a crack to deletion. I pondered that one trying to decide if it needed afd or csd a1 and/or g1. A second opinion is a good thing. --Gwguffey (talk) 05:56, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Asenine, I need to tell you a few things about AfD closures by non-administrators (especially ones closed as delete or speedy delete). With regards to the 'Have a crack' article which was at AfD (I've now deleted it), generally non-administrators don't close AfDs who's result is otherwise not keep. As an involved participator (and nominator!), you've also violated the pretty much unwritten rules over at NAC. I understand why you did it though, the page was compliant with speedy deletion criteria as it's already located at wiktionary, but this is just a notice so it doesn't happen again. If this happens regularly, this'll be brought up at a future RfA. Regards, Rudget (Help?) 18:43, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Lady Aleena's RfA

Asenine...Thank you for participating in my nomination for adminship. Your comments have shown me those areas in which I need improve my understanding. I hope that my future endevors on Wikipedia will lead to an even greater understanding of it. If you wish to further discuss the nomination, please use its talk page. Stop by my talk page anytime, even if it is just to say hello. Have a wonderful day! - LA @ 05:16, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
