Reverted edits

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you posted on the Teahouse about your edits being reverted. I had a brief look at two of them — the ones on Mohanam and Varnam. While you claim that the editor who reverted your edits has no reason to do so, I do not agree. He has provided thorough explanations in his edit summaries, and when I look at the page history, I don't see that any of the files actually appear, nor do they seem appropriate in these situations. To be honest, these two articles aren't written very well, and you may want to view articles on Western classical music as an example. Please contact me if you have further questions. A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Hi, I enjoy listening to your singing of the ragams' arohanam and avarohanams. I have heard your Amrithavarshini and Hindolam. Have you recorded any others? I would love to listen to the rest.

Thanks, Ramesh Ramesh manian (talk) 02:09, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Ramesh manian: Thank you so much. :) There're a few more recordings here.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Have a recording...

[edit]

From the Indian Cultural Center in Bangkok ... sitar and tabla ... it cuts in the middle unfortunately but there's long periods of uninterrupted music with both video and reasonable sound quality. I can upload these if a reasonable cut/transcode utility is produced ... I suggested that at a separate Inspire project over here. prat (talk) 06:23, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Pratyeka: Thank you so much. :) I am happy to take a look at the recording - I have spent the last couple of years looking at bad quality recordings. Is there a place I can take a look?
Sorry I just checked back in here. I will take a look at uploading it to my server today. It's very big. Because I am in mainland China this will be a very slow process, maybe over 24 hours. Once done, I will add the URL here. prat (talk) 01:40, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
