Proposed deletion of Eduardo Ramos Olivera

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Eduardo Ramos Olivera, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Fails to establish notability, no references to non-trivial sources, is written like a resume by one contributor with no other contributions, google search fails to bring up any sources outside of Wikipedia.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Did you forget to add a license tag for this image when uploading.?

Wikipedia takes copyrights seriously, so images need to have an appropriate license tag

You may wish to read Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#For_image_creators which will assist you :) Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:52, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This image is claimed as your own work, but resembles a collated work containing old photos,

It would be appreciated if you could add :

  • 1-2 paragraphs explaining what is shown in the image.
  • Sourcing information for each of the individual images used to create the combined work.
  • An explanation of how this is your own work,
  • An explanation of why this image or its subject is notable.

As well as helping those categorising the image, it will help place the image in context and allow other users of the image (including academics) to make better use of the image :) Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:52, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:VenerableConcepción Cabrera de Armida.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:59, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with File:VenerableConcepción Cabrera de Armida.jpg

[edit]
Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:VenerableConcepción Cabrera de Armida.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:46, 20 October 2011 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Magog the Ogre (talk) 20:46, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
