Hello. I am attempting to upload an image called Katya Zhestokova, to an article on English Wikipedia called John Tillmann (art thief). I have the image now within Wiki Commons, but am totally at a loss as how to get it to the main article on Wikipedia. The link to the article is https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/John_Tillmann_(art_thief)

I would be most obliged if an expert could assist me in this endeavour. cheers M.

Hi Artheistsguy. On the Wikimedia commons page [1] there is a bar across the top with links that say "use this file". Click the one for Wikipedia and copy the text under thumbnail ([[File:Katya Zhestokova.jpg|thumb|Katya Zhestokova]]). You can then paste this into the wikipedia article. Please be aware though, if you are claiming this is your own work you need to hold the copyright for the image. Wikipedia:Image use policy has more information.
