the Meiji Emperor

[edit]

Howdy! I keep undoing your edits for a good reason. While "Emperor Meiji" seems correct, the correct, standard usage is "the Meiji Emperor". You can read the article itself for a good explanation for why this is. Esrever (klaT) 18:56, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Two things, since you're new here. One, you don't need to reply to my comments on this page by posting comments on my talk page. We try to keep comments in a single "thread" whenever possible. Two, sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes, like this: ~~~~ Third, and unrelated to your newness, I disagree with your change to the title, again, but I've lost interest in this matter. Information icon Hello, I'm Wildfowl. I have reversed an edit that you recently made to Barclays. The reason is that "provinces", meaning "outside the London area", is correct in this context. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Wildfowl (talk) 23:19, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon I have reversed some edits that you recently made to List of banks in the United Kingdom. The reason is that I wasn't clear what you meant; certainly, TSB Bank is not now part of Lloyds. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Wildfowl (talk) 23:28, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
