If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nico Ali Walsh requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.today.com/news/muhammad-ali-s-grandson-impresses-boxing-debut-wearing-legend-s-t228312. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Deletion explanation

[edit]

You contested the deletion of Nico Ali Walsh with:

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... (They're sourced from verifiable source. No way this will be deleted. Especially it is Muhammad Ali's grandson and current event the world over.)

It may be that you don't understand what's happening. When you make reference to a verifiable source it sounds like you think are concerned is that the source is not verifiable. That's not the issue. The issue is that the source is subject to full copyright – you can't simply copy that material, even if you appropriately attribute it — you must write it all in your own words with the minor exception that selected quotes, properly marked as quotes are acceptable.--S Philbrick(Talk) 01:00, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry. They'll be created sooner or later by Wikipedia admins themselves. Arnhem555 (talk) 05:31, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Further disruptive editing like adding POV content on Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan[1] with misleading edit summary and removing sourced content without explanation on International Union of Muslim Scholars,[2] will be reported. Abhishek0831996 (talk) 06:59, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Philroc. I noticed that in this edit to Yusof Ishak, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Philroc (c) 18:48, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Yusof Ishak. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! Seloloving (talk) 05:27, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Arnhem555. I would like to advise you that my edits to Yusof Ishak are not vandalism. Please stop adding unsourced titles and honours to the page. If you have a dispute, you may discuss it on the talkpage, but it's not appropriate to characterize another editor's edits as "vandalism", and another editor may be less patient than me and report you to the administrator's noticeboard if you persist in this. If you have doubts, please message me on my talkpage. Thanks. Seloloving (talk) 05:38, 24 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Information icon Hello, I'm Toddy1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Muslims, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed. I do not know if you noticed it, but there were three citations for the data you changed. These gave a wide range of values. There is evidently great uncertainty about the number of Muslims in Communist China. Please read a Wikipedia policy - Wikipedia:No original research.-- Toddy1 (talk) 11:34, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Yusof Ishak, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Seloloving (talk) 11:35, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced honours and a Jawi name to Yusof Ishak without a source. You have previously been blocked for precisely this. Seloloving (talk) 11:37, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   —ScottyWong— 16:42, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
More than half of the 134 edits you've made so far have been reverted by other editors. Your user talk page is littered with complaints, cautions, and warnings. You've never engaged on a talk page with anyone to explain your actions. In order to be unblocked and continue editing Wikipedia, I'll need you to engage here, and affirm that you've read and understand the basic policies that govern Wikipedia articles, including but not limited to WP:V, WP:RS, and WP:NOR. —ScottyWong— 16:47, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
