re: al-Qaeda

There is a pretty strong consensus that the weight of evidence, as demonstrated by reliable sources, points to al-Qaeda being responsible for the 9/11 attacks. To imply otherwise is to give undue weight to fringe sources. That's partly because the topic has been covered ad nauseum and soundly rejected, both on that page (check the archives) as well as on the September 11, 2001 Attacks page. You may notice that you posted your rationale in a discussion thread that started in October 2008 - not many people will notice it there.
