Dinwoody vs. Dinwoodey

[edit]

Hey, Archutah96, welcome to Wikipedia!

And, what got my attention was that you changed spelling in these edits at Henry Dinwoody House article. I would be very glad to hear from you as to how you know the spelling is supposed to be "Dinwoodey". NRHP nomination documents can indeed be wrong. But we need a reliable source for the new spelling, too. I may reverse your edits in the article for now, but also make notes at Talk:Henry Dinwoody House and at wp:NRIS info issues UT towards fixing the situation.

Again welcome. --Doncram (talk) 05:25, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I concluded that you were 100 percent correct, and I made adjustments to implement "Dinwoodey" spelling. Thank you for your attention to this! --Doncram (talk) 06:25, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so I also tend to believe you are correct on architect Richard Kletting or a William Carroll at the Oquirrh School article, in your concern expressed in your edit with summary "Removed Oquirrh School from list of buildings designed by Kletting. Oquirrh School was apparently designed by William Carroll (Salt Lake Herald, 10-28-1892, p. 8)". That indicates that the NRIS assertion of Richard Kletting being architect is wrong. I revised the article and posted at wp:NRIS info issues UT and Talk:Oquirrh School. I don't know for sure. Sometimes one architect builds, and another does significant renovation. Unfortunately the NRHP nomination document for this is not available online. --Doncram (talk) 06:42, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
