[edit]Your recent edits to User talk:Willsome429 could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that making such threats on Wikipedia is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content, not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. I made no threat. I sinple informed this person that at their victims discretion they may be subject to civil and or legal penalties for defacing or removing an article created by Delta State University for educational purposes. Archaementon (talk) 20:52, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- Let's make a few things clear here, before we get any further into this: 1) There is no "victim" here. Editing Wikipedia can be revoked via blocking. Additionally, nobody has the right to push content, as that is actually prohibited under WP:COI. 2) Regardless of whether you were making the threat or you were putting words in the mouth of DSU to try and intimidate me, the fact that you have claimed to take off-wiki action (reporting to DSU) still falls under the template, so it is valid, and any further personal attacks and/or claims of off-wiki action will not be tolerated. 3) My actions have not violated any laws, and stop trying to say they do. They didn't even violate any Wikipedia policy. I did not "deface" the article, nor did I "remove" it, I merely transitioned it to a different namespace. 4) If you are affiliated with DSU, or if any other editors working on the draft are, I strongly encourage all DSU-affiliated editors to cease editing the draft, as it is a violation of WP:COI. If you are being paid by DSU, you are required to put a notice on your userpage as per WP:UPE. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 21:48, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
1.Fan of the station. Not affiliated directly. 2. I stand against bullying in all forms. This is not the first vindictive and / or malicious editorializing you have done. Just ask those Frisbee Golf people you bullied. 3.I informed the staff at WDSW and at DSU so that they may rebut the arbitrary takedown of their Radio Station page. A page which was put up by staff. What they choose to do about it is their affair. 4. As to intimidation, I dont even know, nor do I care what you do out the in anonymous internet land. But you should know that if you act to harass and annoy there are consequences to doing so. If that intimidates you the you have sense. Winding up in federal prison under laws like 43 USC 223 is scary. 5. As far as banning me for kicking up a fuss, I lived my who life up till now not being an active editor, no big on me. I'd just get my information from real reference works like Britanica. Crowdsourced encyclopedias like this one are great in theory, but are easily held hostage by one person with some wierd agenda. I wash my hands of you. I don't have lifespan to waste in a debate with a person drunk on the exercise of petty power. Don't bother to reply as I wont be checking back in. Try to gain some wisdom in your life. Archaementon (talk) 23:44, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
