Unrated Allmusic reviews
[edit]I have undone a few of these edits, but after taking a look into your contribs and noticing you have done this to several articles, I thought leaving you a message would be more effective. Although I would like to thank you for your contributing actual reviews from Allmusic, it is not constructive to add unrated links. It really doesn't make much sense to add links from unrated Allmusic pages to the "Professional reviews" of album infoboxes as you have done here and here. Fezmar9 (talk) 15:37, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well you can absolutely do that, but do you see how it doesn't make much sense to add a reference to the reviews section? If you want to make a reference, place your source between these <ref></ref> tags, then at the bottom of the article add a reference section with {{Reflist}}, if one does not already exist. Fezmar9 (talk) 15:33, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
- On the same note as the above, please don't add links that are only ratings with no actual review. For example, your edit to Forget the World added an Allmusic rating and link, but the Allmusic entry has only a tracklist and rating...no review at all. Since this is a "professional reviews" section, not a "professional ratings" section, we are only interested in links that contain actual critical analysis and review, not merely a rating. You can read more about using reviews in the infobox at WP:ALBUMS#Professional reviews. Thanks. --IllaZilla (talk) 17:44, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
- Also, please don't just add a bare link; please format it as an inline reference, like I did with this diff. Just putting "link" is frowned upon. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 23:10, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Arbies92! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 2 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Estong Ballesteros - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 21:17, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Albums
[edit]Reviews aren't supposed to go in the {{Infobox album}} template anymore. They're supposed to be cited and elaborated on in the text, preferably in a "critical reception" section. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 19:34, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Deletion nomination of Template:2009-10 San Antonio Spurs playoffs game log
[edit]Hi Arbies92, this is a message from an automated bot, regarding Template:2009-10 San Antonio Spurs playoffs game log. You blanked the page and, since you are its sole author, FrescoBot has interpreted it as a request for deletion of the page and asked administrators to satisfy the requests per speedy deletion criterion G7. Next time you want a page that you've created deleted, you can explicitly request the deletion by inserting the text {{db-author}}
. If you didn't want the page deleted, please remove the {{db-author}}
tag from the page and undo your blanking or put some content in the page. Admins are able to recover deleted pages. Please do not contact the bot operator for issues not related with bot's behaviour. To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=FrescoBot}}
somewhere on your talk page. -- FrescoBot (msg) 05:46, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
You are now a Reviewer
[edit]Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 04:51, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Jamesx12345 (talk) 18:40, 10 June 2013 (UTC)Proposed deletion of Jay-R Reyes
[edit]The article Jay-R Reyes has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article of unclear notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Wikicology (talk) 23:41, 8 August 2014 (UTC)

The article Paolo Mendoza has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
