Biblical literalism
[edit]Hello, I just wanted to drop you a note and say thanks for helping WIKI and that I hope you don't take my critisisms of your page personally. Just try to remember that Wiki is not the best of forums to present your ideas. It's purpose is more like presenting ideas that are allready well established. Peace. --DjSamwise 21:25, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Biblical Inerrency
[edit]HI Arbeiter, I had to remove your section on Biblical Inerrentists from this article again. I know you feel passionately about why they would be wrong.. but until you find verifiable and noteworthy proponent of Biblical Inerrency then please do not keep adding the section as if they were an actual noteworthy proponent. In short, the view you keep arguing against, isn't held by anyone. You win, so let's not keep presenting it as a view that anyone holds. Thanks. Peace. --DjSamwise 03:54, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Come back!
[edit]I enjoyed your edits. I looked through your contributions. Man! Your edits have been butchered. I hope you come back to defend them!
So you think you can "completely destroy" me at chess. You must think you're good, because I am no beginner. I use a program called Chessmaster 10 for online play. Let me know if you have it. If not, I know shockwave.com used to have a free program. --DixiePixie 07:04, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Welcome back!
[edit]Gutten Morgan Herr Arbeiter. Sorry we got so into last time. I hope this round we can both rely on the concensus of others more. Peace --Homecomputer 15:27, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Arbeiter. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Ipu.gif) was found at the following location: User:Arbeiter. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 09:25, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Newyuk.png
[edit]Image:Newyuk.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:39, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]I am very new here...maybe 5 weeks. I am captivated by the width and breathe and potential of Wikipedia. It has replaced internet poker as my "residence". In my wanderings thru the nooks and crannies, I searched for a focal point...a base of operation. Early on, I started to read discussion pages and soon realized how much time was being "wasted" in defense of or promotion of such miniscule factors within articles. I also realized how entrenched POV's can become. I had a few little battles, felt sucessful, but realized that POV battling was not the arena that I wanted to be drawn into.
Let me get to the point of why I reach out to you. In my travels within WikiWorld I started to realize that quality editors (my POV) were leaving. Of course, I wondered why. Let me say, reading your page and others like it was VERY enlightening and rewarding. And it tied into an idea I had a week or two back. Maybe, with a little help from my friends(?), I could be like Mighty Mouse and "Save the Day". Or maybe it would be a place I could hang my hat for a few hours a day and get some real work done. What is it, you ask? (at least I hope you ask). "IT" is only in the Genisis stage. It's still in the shell,so to speak. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/wikiknights I hope it sounds interesting to you. Please let me know what you think. Maybe its not "planted" in the right place...maybe its a reinvention of the wheel and is already in place...maybe it will become my own little windmill. I dont know. Thanks for your time and good luck. --Buster7 (talk) 12:03, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
