Some of your pages might be deleted

[edit]

I nominated some of your user pages for deletion. The discussion is taking place at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Aranho/"Titanic Book" Collection. You are welcome to state your opinion there.

The reason to delete these pages is described at WP:NOT#MYSPACE and WP:USER. Even if they are deleted, it will be a few days, so you will have time to transfer the content to another website or computer file. If you get this message after deletion, ask an admin to undelete it temporarily so that you can copy the content.

I encourage you to contribute to Wikipedia in areas that are familiar to you, such as the article about the city or town where you live, or about TV shows you watch. It's just that we need to keep content focused on the primary goals of this project. Best regards. YechielMan 16:23, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

Thanks for your message at the deletion page. Sadly, I think there's pretty much no chance your material will survive. I strongly suggest you move it as soon as possible, as a trigger-happy admin could come along and speedily close the nomination at any moment. Please drop a line back at the deletion page when you've moved it.

While I'm here, can I echo Yechiel's suggestions above that you contribute to the encyclopedia itself, not just user space and talk pages? You're clearly a very talented 13 year old and your view of the world would be a very valuable contribution to this encyclopedia - most of us are just a little older! I'm sure you have many interests on which you can make a valued contribution. Cheers. --Dweller 11:55, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your ACS userboxes

[edit]

Please do not use Image:Anglo-Chinese School Crest.jpg in your ACS userboxes. It is a copyrighted logo, which means it cannot be used in user pages and all other non-article pages per the non-free content policy. I have removed the logo from all of the userboxes; do not add it again. Resurgent insurgent 08:11, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Carnival ACS 2

[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Carnival ACS 2, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposal to put Sompah MRT Station for AfD

[edit]

Hi Huaiwei, I'd like to refer you to this Wikipedia_talk:SGpedians'_notice_board#Proposal_to_put_Sompah_MRT_Station_up_for_AfD. The details are in the link, but in summary, a user has created a page for Sompah MRT Station, which obviously doesn't exist and is spelled wrongly anyway. Although props to him for designing the page so that it looks like the rest of the MRT pages. I don't know the AfD procedure - I've tried putting it up for speedy, but it was overturned by another user, citing that my reason does not fit the criteria. I would gladly appreciate it if you could help out, or at least refer it to someone who knows how to handle these kind of things. 리지강.wa.au talk 13:51, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops sorry, this was formally addressed to Huaiwei, but the intention is still the same. I hope that you can help out. Thanks! 리지강.wa.au talk 13:52, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article has been put up for AfD. Please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sompah MRT Station. Thanks - oahiyeel talk 16:19, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Meetup 4 and future meetups

[edit]

Hello, I understand that you are not attending the next meetup this month. Are you interested in attending future meetups? Terence (talk) 10:02, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to hear that. Hope to meet you in future. Well, since I have my IGCSE (British version of the O Levels), I will be back just to do some small editing and help to organise meetups. I will be mainly uploading pictures on Commons. Just to let you know, I'm in your brother school. :) Terence (talk) 14:36, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
ACS (Independent) does only the IB, not the IGCSE. It is ACS (International) which does both the IGCSE and the IB. Terence (talk) 14:41, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. If you have been watching Talk:The Amazing Race, I have come up with an alternative proposal to yours regarding the split up of The Amazing Race. With all due respect, I propose to implement my plan in about a week (by Wednesday, March 14) instead of yours, if there are no serious objections by any users. I thought your proposal was good, but I wanted to split The Amazing Race in a way such that anything split would survive any Wikipedia:Articles for deletion attempt. Please see Wikipedia:Fancruft. I don't want to see any hard work be wasted if an AfD succeeds of any split article, as I feel it might with your proposal. I hope you will support my plan and I hope there will be no hard feelings if I am managing the split and you are not. Tinlinkin 06:51, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for your support and your comments. I have just one comment: I thought for a moment that The Amazing Race Singapore was a real book based on The Amazing Race. I guess it's your own work that you are posting on your user space. Tinlinkin 18:52, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Future MRT Map

[edit]

Hi there! btw I'm CalvinTeo from WikiCommons. been busy over the past week. And glad you liked the map =)

Regarding yr question, the one-north People Mover System (PMS) is a transport system planned for the one-north district, which includes Biopolis, Fusionopolis, Vista Xchange, Rochester Park etc. Nothing really confirmed yet, just a tender & feasibility study by JTC. But the relevant authorities have dropped many "hints" of the building of this upcoming system. It could possibly be a real people mover system (i.e Changi Airport Skytrain) or even a tram/bus system. You can find some details of the system, + map here: [2]

The article Kampong Java Tunnel has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A search for references found no published (gBooks) support for the content of this article, fails WP:V and WP:N

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. When you recently edited Outer Ring Road System, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eunos (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
