Hello Ferien. I have started editing tennis wikipedia articles, mainly editing little tid bits here and there (mainly updating latest stats). However, I've seen the articles on the grand slams and the 2019 Aus Open - Men's Singles included information that I felt was unnecessary. Most notably, mentioning Andy Murray's 'last match' at the time of January 2019 is quite ridiculous. This article was not exclusive, as on the 2021 US Open, I edited out a part where it said that Felix Auger-Aliassime was the first person born in the 2000s to make the semifinals of a Grand Slam. That type of information is not an a remarkable achievement worth mentioning, as there is always a first for each decade. If it's that important, how about editing the 1988 French Open - Men's Singles article, where Andre Agassi was the first person born in the 1970s to make the semifinals of a grandslam. That is only two examples of unnecessary information. In summary, it's necessary to remove unnecessary information.
