Personal information and off-wiki disputes

[edit]

Please do not post personal information about other users on wikipedia. It is potentially damaging and dangerous. Also, even though you may have a dispute with one of the editors here, please confine your comments in arbitration to activities that the involved parties have done on wikipedia, not some other event that may have happened on other sites and IRL. Thank you. --rogerd 17:10, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Roger -- we'll make an effort to abide by Wikiprinciples. We have directly addresses the assertions made at Wikipedia by Wikipedia user DeanHinnen both on the Wikipedia site and at our own online publication. -- Apj-us-nyc 17:09, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jemima James and Kent Cooper

[edit]

No, I'll admit that I am unfamiliar with these artists. I checked to see if either one had articles in wikipedia, and they didn't. I then googled them and found some info on them. I took the liberty of creating a stub article about Jemima James, which you can now click on and add more information. You can also build an article about Cooper by clicking on this link to the currently non-existent article about Kent Cooper (musician). It needs to be qualified because there is already an article about an apparently unrelated journalist named Kent Cooper. --rogerd 03:07, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Before we create an article about Kent Cooper, however, I think we need to review rough guidelines which we might use to decide if a musical topic is notable. If you think these two artists meet these guidelines for notability, then we can move forward. Thanks. --rogerd 03:44, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I noticed that her son Willy Mason has an article, too. --rogerd 14:08, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I stubbed the article for you, aren't you going to fill in the blanks? There is more on wikipedia than politics, you know. --rogerd 00:33, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
