A tag has been placed on U-ParkIt, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Gtg204y 18:48, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your request

[edit]

I got your message asking for help. Unfortunately, I don't think there's any way an article on your company could be included on Wikipedia at this point. I haven't been able to track down any sources that would allow it to pass Wikipedia's notability guidelines. However, if you can establish notability as described there, also try to avoid anything that sounds like a sales-pitch for the company's products, or placing external links in the body of the article. Based on your username, I'd also suggest you read Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest before recreating the article. I hope you find this helpful, Gtg204y 19:40, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Aparcalo, Gtg has summed it up perfectly. I can only endorse his suggestions; posting information about your own business is a matter that must be dealt with utmost care, and it's only acceptable under certain circumstances. The links provided above will provide you all the information you need regarding this matter. Have a nice day, and let me know if I can be of further assistance to you. Regarding {{hangon}}

[edit]

At this point, the article has already been deleted, since the content was very clearly an advertisement for the company, so it's too late to place a {{hangon}}. Normally the tag would need to be placed either directly above or directly below the speedy deletion tag. If you believe you can create an unbiased article on the subject, you can create a new page at the same name, but be aware that multiple recreations with the same (or similar) content may lead an administrator to prevent recreation of the page.
