May 2020[edit]

Hello, I'm TheImaCow. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Palki seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Palki[edit]

I've reverted your edits on Palki and wanted to talk to you a bit about the problems there.

First, you should never take an existing article and completely rewrite it about another subject. Not only is that just plain rude, but it will confuse readers who follow an existing wikilink to get to that article. Instead, you need to create a new article, with a name that disambiguates the subject.

Also, when you write about a subject, you need to make sure that subject is notable. Obviously this person is important to you, but nothing in the article even remotely suggests they are notable enough to be in an encyclopedia. If you continue to make pages about non-notable subjects, you risk getting blocked from editing without warning.

Take a few minutes to read through the links in your welcome message, and I hope you stick around and become a productive Wikipedian.----Fabrictramp | talk to me 14:20, 15 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Palak Periwal[edit]

Hello Aoldname,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Palak Periwal for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
