Wipeout 2048
[edit]Hi Aoba, if you have the time would you mind leaving some comments at the Wipeout 2048 FAC? My previous nomination for Nights failed and wanted to nominate this as it stands a much better chance. Of course, I'll be happy to exchange reviews for anything you have up now or anytime in the future. Don't worry if you can't do it. Thanks! JAGUAR 19:18, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
- I am sorry to hear that your previous nomination failed. I will provide some comments on your current FAC by the end of today if that is okay with you. Aoba47 (talk) 13:22, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks! I owe you one. JAGUAR 16:48, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- No worries. I enjoyed reviewing the article. If you have any time, I would appreciate it if you could provide some commentary on my FAC. Thank you in advance. Aoba47 (talk) 16:51, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Sure thing, I'll take a look through Faces. I'm a big van of Voyager and coincidentally watched that episode a couple of days ago! JAGUAR 17:48, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you! I am pretty big fan of the show too, and it is one of my favorite episodes, especially prior to Season 4. Aoba47 (talk) 18:21, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

Mother's Day (Rugrats)
[edit]Hello:
The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article "Mother's Day" Rugrats has been completed.
I must be missing something but this sentence -
"Angelica becomes mad at Chuckie for failing to pick a dandelion for her sculpture, which was complicated by a bee, and Stu's malfunctioning Mother's Day invention."
makes no sense to me. It needs clarification, I think.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Regards,
Twofingered Typist (talk) 14:03, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for the response; I will add more clarification to that part shortly. Hope you are having a wonderful week so far! Aoba47 (talk) 14:09, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have revised so it hopefully adds a better context. Aoba47 (talk) 14:11, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
New WP:GOCE/REQ per-editor limit
[edit]It's been reduced from three to two because of the large number of requests. Miniapolis 21:27, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
- That makes perfect sense. I will remove my last request. Thank you for the notification. Aoba47 (talk) 00:26, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
Hannah Baker
[edit]Hey, can you take a look at the "Characterization" section of the article. There are so many emotions that I seem to be pouring into the article at the moment, and I just want to make sure that they are translating in the right manner. Let me know if there anything I can do to improve the section. (I hope that this doesn't turn into too much work for you.) Thanks. NumerounovedantTalk 21:17, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- I will take a look through the section as soon as I can (probably sometime tomorrow if that is okay with you). Great job with the article so far. Aoba47 (talk) 21:26, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Numerounovedant: Everything about the "Characterization" section seems rather solid. I would recommend thinking about the placement of the "Casting" section and also maybe better distinguishing the characterization for Baker in the novel and the characterization of Baker in the television show. I typically see the "Casting" section before the "Characterization" section as it is normally more of a chronological set-up since it would go from when the role was created, and then it was casted, followed by the actual view of the character itself. I would also recommend seeing if you could dig up more about the character in the novel and more on Asher's thought process/influences when creating the character. Hope you find this to be helpful, and I apologize for the delay in my response. Great work on it so far! Aoba47 (talk) 22:24, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for talking a look, and in fact you really pinpointed on the problem that I am facing. There seems to be no account of Asher's original thoughts on the character itself; I think it's because the theme of Hannah's suicide completely overpowered her basic character, and Asher never could really talk of her as a person. The only instance that i was able to find him talk about Hannah was in the series special release episode, but I am not sure if I can use the netflix link as a reference? Also, it's just a one line description of the character. Sorry for the trouble, and it's okay if you're busy at the moment. Let me know how you feel, like whenever. NumerounovedantTalk 08:39, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Numerounovedant: That makes sense to me as the character and the material itself primarily received attention through the television show. In that case, I would suggest moving up the "Casting" portion before the "Characterization" and renaming it something along the lines of "Character creation" so that way you can talk about both the creation of the character for the book and television show and move into the characterization of the actual character. This is just an idea, and it may not work, but I just wanted to give you some food for thought. I would also remind you to include negative reviews of the character and show as this particular character and the representation of her suicide has received a lot of negative attention as well as praise so you want to make sure you are being comprehensive and to avoid accusations of bias. I would also include information about how the ending of the series and for the character was almost going to be completely different. But, to more directly answer your question, I would assume that this article would be more centered on the television version of the character given the more intense commentary on it over the book, but I would say just make sure you make the differences between the book character and television character as clear and understandable to the reader as possible. I hope this helps in some way, and I apologize for my long responses :P lol. For the actual plot/storyline sections, you actually have to cite the individual episodes to the best of my understanding; the only television article that I believe is an exemption to that rule is soap opera-related ones given the format of soap operas. You have done great work on the article so far and it is very commendable for you to take on an article on a topic that is getting so much coverage (I know that I would be overwhelmed by it so keep up the good work and good luck with it). Aoba47 (talk) 13:40, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for putting in so much though into this. I'll try and keep in mind the comments that suggestions that you've offered while moving forward with the article. Thanks a lot! NumerounovedantTalk 16:48, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- Anytime; I am glad that I can help in any way and good luck with the article! Aoba47 (talk) 17:05, 25 April 2017 (UTC)

Advice needed
[edit]I have been planning to nominate Yu Kanda to FA since it has just been copyedited. Do you think it looks okay? Does it lack something? Regards.Tintor2 (talk) 15:38, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: Everything looks ready for FAC. I will provide a more detailed commentary for the FAC by the end of the week if that is okay with you. Aoba47 (talk) 22:26, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
Gagged (EP)
[edit]It did make a mistake with the spacing which I'm working to correct but the other edits are right. The first link to archive.is doesn't work and it fixed the dates. Will be uploading a corrected diff soon. -- GreenC 18:43, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Green Cardamom: Thank you for the message; that is odd through as I am having no issues with archive.is and I have loaded the archived version of the first resource without any issue. Aoba47 (talk) 18:46, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- The URLs have non-standard encoding. They work when clicked on through the Wikipage which does HTML translation but not when cut and pasted into the URL bar or when checked by bots. Hopefully these fixes will solve the problem. -- GreenC 19:18, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- This URL doesn't work for me can you verify? [1] -- GreenC 19:23, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for the fix and it did not work for me either. I will definitely be more aware of this in the future. Aoba47 (talk) 19:31, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
List of songs recorded by Rise Against
[edit]Hi there,
Would you be interested in taking a look at this? I'll be willing to repay the favor. Famous Hobo (talk) 04:39, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- I will definitely look at it as soon as I get the chance. I will put my comments up by tomorrow night at the latest. Seeing this FLC makes me want to do another list like this lol. Aoba47 (talk) 13:50, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
Spot check
[edit]Hello, Aoba47. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I was wondering if you could do a spot check on the List of songs written by Tove Lo? I know you already reviewed it, but I need someone to do a spot check on it, which is basically to ensure that the references actually support what is written on the list. I'm asking you this favor because you are the only user I know that is active on these topics. I'm willing to review one of your nominations if necessary. Thank you a lot and regards, --Paparazzzi (talk) 15:21, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message. I will do a spot check and look through the references tomorrow night if that is okay with you. I do not have much time today to conduct a spot check as thoroughly as I would like, but I can set aside tomorrow afternoon/evening to check through all of the references to make sure the information cited is found in them. Aoba47 (talk) 15:23, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, no problem, do it when you have time. Again, thank you a lot for your help! Regards, --Paparazzzi (talk) 19:54, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
- Anytime! I am glad to see that nomination has received a lot of attention. Aoba47 (talk) 20:06, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

- Thank you so much, Aoba! Anything you want from me, just leave me a message! Regards and thanks again, --Paparazzzi (talk) 04:34, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
- I am glad that I can help in any way. I am happy to see your FLC get a lot of attention and hopefully be promoted in the near future as I know you put a lot of work into the list and have done a wonderful job with it. I do not have anything currently open that needs help; other than two GANs that I have open, I am just waiting for my current FAC to get promoted as it has already received a lot of commentary and a source review and an image review. I will let you know if I need any help in the future; feel free to ask me help in the future if you need any. Aoba47 (talk) 13:44, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
- @Paparazzzi: I apologize for the random ping, but I would greatly appreciate it if you could look at one of my current GANs if possible. Thank you either way! Aoba47 (talk) 13:08, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

Hey
[edit]Hey, I just wanted to put in a quick thank you note for you. I'll make it short: Thank you for putting in a good word [here], I am sure Syek88 would really appreciate it. So do I. Also, I saw Vanguard10's comments at the FAC, I didn't comment as I don't want this to drag on for too long, but let me know if you need help there. I am sure that FAC coordinators would have come across the situation before and will easily resolve it, but as I faced a similar situation here once, I would be happy to add whatever I can to the discussion, if need be. NumerounovedantTalk 21:45, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for your kind words, and I greatly enjoyed working with you and just wanted to add my two cents as I agree with both you and Syek88 and the way in which that FAC was handled as a whole. I think my current FAC is nearing completion, and will most likely be promoted within the next week (*fingers crossed*), but I will definitely keep you updated and ask for further help if necessary. Also, good luck with your current FAC. I will definitely go over to it sometime within the next to provide my comments on it. Hope you had a great weekend. Aoba47 (talk) 21:52, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- Haha a great weekend indeed, it was my birthday (Also, the first day in a long while with no edits here). NumerounovedantTalk 22:00, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- Happy birthday!! I would actually greatly appreciate it if you could provide further commentary on the FAC if possible. I understand if you do not have the time or energy to do so though. Aoba47 (talk) 22:59, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
