Hi. The two are not equal. https://www.amacdonaldlaw.com/blog/2016/may/what-is-the-difference-between-innocent-and-not-/ Thanks. 2603:7000:2143:8500:3484:A520:5DBA:2ACC (talk) 10:13, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ~ HAL333 21:44, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of noticeboard discussion

[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. IntrepidContributor (talk) 14:17, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are involved in a recently-filed request for clarification or amendment from the Arbitration Committee. Please review the request at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Clarification and Amendment#Clarification request: Should disputed content be left in a BLP while discussion is ongoing? and, if you wish to do so, enter your statement and any other material you wish to submit to the Arbitration Committee. Additionally, the Wikipedia:Arbitration guide may be of use.

User:HAL333, I think you know very well that I edited the lead of the BLP in question to reflect what the BLP body says, and I had not previously done so since that part of the article body was modified. Therefore, your warning here is inappropriate and I will give it the full attention it deserves. Anythingyouwant (talk) 02:34, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well you took enough notice of this warning to respond to it... If you continue with this tedious battleground back-and-forth, I will have to open an ANI discussion. ~ HAL333 03:01, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently I took more notice of the warning than you took of my response. Anythingyouwant (talk) 03:02, 23 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
