Your submission and about sourcing

[edit]

Greetings. Your submission was declined because you used to much of primary sources. You could source from mainstream publications, major magazines, newspapers and/or books. Primary sources e.g. homepages, official websites and websites that are closely related to the topic are best to be avoided. For your case, Alexa and profit.ndtv would be primary sources which are not considered to be reliable sources. For a much thorough guide, click on the blue hyperlinks on the declination banner on your submission page. Cheers. EROS message 14:18, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

About your submission Draft:Desimartini

[edit]

Third party sources are the best kind of sources for Wikipedia articles. They consist of mainstream publications, major business magazines, newspapers and even books. Moreover, sources are required to be independent, that is to be unrelated to the source. Although you sourced from major business websites like Blommberg and Finance Yahoo, they are not articles but company reports. It grieves me to say that articles would be a better choice, although if no options left, they could be used as sources only as the last resort. Many of your sources still need improvement. For (5), there is only a small paragraph and no meaty coverage. Articles with only passing mentions (like no.5) are best to be excluded. Contrary to these, no. (7) is a good source. It is from Hindu Times and a deep coverage given to the company. Such articles are the best suited as sources for articles. If you cannot find any in English, do not hesitate to insert foreign language sources. It can be in the local language. The English Wikipedia does welcome and accept non-English sources as reference. Some articles on Wikipedia are in fact wholly sourced with foreign language sources. That won't be a problem. Cheers. EROS message 15:15, 15 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
