Welcome!

Hello, Anubisthefoxhead, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Re. Talk:Economist#Help needed here

  • I moved your comment to the end of the talk page, which is where new comments belong.
  • You didn't need to use a {{help me}} there; it is a content issue, up for discussion; therefore
  • If you are reasonably confident, just make the change. If someone disagrees, they can undo your change, and then you can discuss it. See WP:BRD
  • Otherwise, just wait; people will hopefully read the comment you added on that talk page, and respond - so, check back on Talk:Economist#Help needed here after several days. You might also ask for input with a short note pointing to the comment, on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Economics. If nothing happens after a week or so - nobody disagreeing - go ahead and make the change.

If you need help with anything else - more of a "how do I do this?" type of question - then use a {{helpme}} right here, on your own talk page.

I hope that helps,  Chzz  ►  10:39, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Chzz. I was worried there would be no response, since the last discussion on that page was more than a year ago, but I have clearly misused the {{helpme}} tag. My apologies for that. I will follow your suggestion and put up a request in the WikiProject Economics page. Anubisthefoxhead (talk) 14:07, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
