Pan's Labyrinth

[edit]

Hiya Anthony. First welcome to wikipedia and sorry your first edit got rolled back. Second, I have to throw out the disclaimer that I was probably not as focused as I needed to be when I was doing the recent changes stuff last night. Now that I'm rereading it, I see that you meant that Cria Cuervos was allegorical but at the time I thought you were saying something else entirely that seemed wildly unfounded. The reason I reverted was because your addition was unsourced, which is still true even though I misread it badly. If you look at the other additions to that section, most of them have a reliable source where someone else has made the comparison. Otherwise what we're doing is what we call original research because it's you the editor making the comparison instead of noting where someone else has. The other comparisons there also go into a little more detail about what the similarity is. I'm still not entirely clear on what comparison it was you were making. The thing to do here would be to find a source that talks about the similarities between the films and then add it to that section.

Gimme a minute after closing this comment and I'll drop a welcome menu on your talk page; it'll have a bunch of information links, including one or two about reliable sources. I hope this helps. I haven't had enough coffee yet (it's morning here) so I may not be explaining myself very well. Cheers and happy editing. Millahnna (mouse)talk 16:19, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
