Notes from phone conversation with Jacob De Wolff

[edit]
  • Train the reviewers: They need to know the difference between our style and that of a textbook or journal, and the limitations of the Wikipedia medical sources guideline. In particular, we may sometimes use slightly less precise language in order to communicate effectively with the general reader, and we may not be able to report the latest research if it hasn't yet been reviewed by independent experts.
We'll need to knock up a readable, concise (but comprehensive!) guideline module for would-be reviewers.
  • Work out an approach/pitch here, then have a conference call with Luis and Lila to prepare for the meeting with Fiona, so we know who'll say what and are all singing from the same sheet.
  • Jacob mentioned a journal that always names the article's reviewer/s on the article itself.
