To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}}
on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes
~~~~
at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
Disambiguated links
[edit]Just to let you know, editor Anthony hello123, Viacom is now a disambiguation page. So when you link to the company, the way you did at UPN, please use:
[[ViacomCBS|Viacom]]
or just[[ViacomCBS]]
See more about linking at the help page and the project page. Thank you for your edits and for your support in this! P.I. Ellsworth ed. put'r there 18:51, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to The Unicorn (TV series), it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. — YoungForever(talk) 20:18, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
So what you are saying is, referring to my my recent edit on The Unicorn (TV series), since the article that i have referenced to does not specifically say the finale date is March 25, that means that what i am saying could just be a guess and that this is technically against Wikipedia's rules. I just assumed that since United States of Al is premiering on April 1, that The Unicorn will wrap it's second season on March 25, as the article says that the series premieres the week following The Unicorn's season finale. But that makes sense to not put that, and if i do, to not reference a totally different article and put it into my own words, which is technically misleading info. But i will make sure that i refrain from doing so, and make sure that i read the entire article next time. Anthony hello123 (talk) 01:57, 14 February 2021 (UTC)
[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to B Positive, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — YoungForever(talk) 01:38, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 8
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kung Fu (2021 TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CTV. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:53, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
Young Forever
[edit]I wanted to let you know why I reverted your edit to Young Forever (disambiguation) and why I have requested that Young Forever (Jay Z song) be returned to Young Forever. The relevant guideline here involves primary topics. The Jay-Z is currently the primary topic for the term Young Forever, and with, I think, good reason; although there are other uses listed on the disambiguation page, the Jay-Z song is by far the most trafficked page among the uses with articles. As the primary topic, it should be at the undisambiguated page name. If you disagree with this arrangement, and you think the Jay-Z song should be disambiguated and the disambiguation page should be moved to Young Forever, you should go through the requested move process.—ShelfSkewed Talk 02:46, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
Alright, so should i move the page back to to Young Forever, and leave the Young Forever (Jay Z song) as a redirect, or would that need consensus? Anthony hello123 (talk) 03:00, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
- It doesn't require a consensus discussion, but because you edited Young Forever after making the move, it does require an admin or someone with page-mover permission to reverse the move. That's why I made the request at WP:RM#TR.—ShelfSkewed Talk 03:12, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
