Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits, such as the ones to the page Wikipedia:Notability (academics), do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at WP:Academic. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Tryptofish (talk) 20:32, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Trying to write an article? Glad to help.

[edit]

It looks to me like you are trying to write an article. I'd be glad to help you get started with that. The problem is that the place you have been pasting your article is the wrong place. You've been pasting it on top of a project that discusses university professors. Every time you paste your article there you erase the information on the page that is about academic professors.

I don't think you are erasing other people's projects on purpose.

I moved the article you were working on to User:Annmarieleimer/sandbox. If you work on it there it won't be upsetting people and you'll have time to work on it and get it ready to be an official article. If you have any questions ask them right under this message and I'll be back to answer. Cloveapple (talk) 22:36, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
