Information icon Hello, I'm Frosty. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to R. Budd Dwyer, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Frosty (Talk page) 05:48, 21 July 2014 (UTC)

Alan Passaro

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia. This is just to let you know that I changed Alan Passaro into a redirect to Death of Meredith Hunter, since the article on Passaro didn't seem to add any new information not already covered in the latter article on Hunter's death. Normally such an article would be speedy deleted but I felt it was more constructive to have it be a redirect. This being said, if you believe that Passaro may meet the requirements to have his own article I reccomend starting it in a Userspace draft so you have plenty of time to expand and improve it. Cheers, RA0808 talkcontribs 18:52, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

March 2017

Hi there, if you're trying to create a new page, please start with a completely empty edit box. We can't just write over the contents of an existing article, like you did with this edit to the Liberty City article. If you don't know how to start a article, you should read WP:How to create a page. Cmr08 (talk) 05:31, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

In reply to your message on my talk page, if you want to learn how to create a new page, then you should read WP:How to create a page that I mentioned to you above. Cmr08 (talk) 01:59, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

Copying licensed material requires proper attribution

It appears that you have added material on Liberty City copied from the Grand Theft Wiki (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use licensed content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original author(s). When copying from other compatibly-licensed web pages, please at minimum mention in an edit summary at the new page where you got the content. It's also a good idea to place a note on the article along with your citation. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied licensed material before, even if it was a long time ago, please go back and provide attribution. Please leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:42, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Shadilay

The article Shadilay has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references and no substantive case for notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Please stop creating random userpages. Home Lander (talk) 18:25, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at John Seigenthaler. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 18:45, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to John Seigenthaler, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 18:45, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

  • I was about to warn you that I was going to indefinitely block you if you continued to create userpages of users other than yourself. I see Ronhjones has blocked your for other reasons. When you are unblocked, please do not create any more userpages for random users (some of whom are blocked, and at least one of whom actually asked for their userpage to be deleted.) If you do, it will result in a block longer than 31 hours. TonyBallioni (talk) 18:47, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:

I did not know that making pages for other users was prohibited, I apologize. Annexxation (talk) 05:14, 9 April 2018 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:19, 9 April 2018 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
