Your submission at Articles for creation: Manuel Cortés-Castañeda (March 5)
[edit]- I dream of horses I removed the offending section completely. The page that is being referenced has super basic biography background including a list of books published. I listed those in bulleted form but of course the content is the same as those are facts, books published. I really don't know what else to do. Without listing those publishing accomplishments, why have a wiki author page? The person who keeps deleting my draft doesn't provide any guidance. Can you help? Surely someone in the community actually wants to provide assistance? Annaleacortes (talk) 12:47, 5 March 2019 (UTC)annaleacortes
- Annaleacortes, just publishing books is not an indication of notability (nowadays anyone can publish a book through an online platform)... people and critics discussing those books in reliable sources, and demonstrating the books' influence, is what makes them notable. You need to find sources from newspapers, magazines, etc. (not self-published blogs or online forums) that show this. Richard3120 (talk) 16:34, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
- I resent that "doesn't provide any guidance". I consider that my messages here provide some very specific guidance. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:09, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

Manuel Cortés-Castañeda moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Manuel Cortés-Castañeda, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
