Help!
Where do I find templates for stubs? For that matter, where are templates besides Userboxes? Context: I'm working on articles that are currently stubs and wanted to tag them as such. The first is Threads (Battlefield Band album). - Anna Kucsma 18:41, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, see Wikipedia:Stubs! Computerjoe's talk 18:43, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you! - Anna Kucsma 18:47, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
Is there a way to un-include modifications to my own user pages from the My Contributions list? I keep quite a few such pages and I edit them a lot. — Anna Kucsma 16:30, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- I do not believe there is a way to remove them entirely, but you can use the namespace drop down box at the top of the My Contributions list to only list the particular kinds of articles you want, so you can list only mainspace articles, which doesn't include anything in userspace. -Dawson 16:37, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- I see now! I just didn't think of "(Main)" as "where the articles are"! — Anna Kucsma 16:44, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

hey - a fellow new yorker martyn bennett fan. haven't found too many of those.--Paraphelion 03:18, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I'm not familliar with his music. I found him on the List of Celtic Fusion artists and therefore put him in the Celtic fusion musicians category. Sorry to dissapoint you. - Anna Kucsma 13:28, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- oh well check out his music you might like it. you see the gaelic storm show a few months ago? was fun. i haven't heard this battlefield band yet been meaning to--Paraphelion 16:29, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I don't go out as much as I ought to (or, I'm often told to get out more). So no, I didn't see the Gaelic Storm show — though I have one of their albums. And the Battlefield Band is good, both recorded and live: I had a chance to see them when I was last up in Nova Scotia - Anna Kucsma 16:39, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- If you have trouble finding some of his stuff, email me.--Paraphelion 23:02, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

Celtic Fusion
Hey, great work on the Celtic Fusion category. I also applaud your musical taste in general. Check out my Last.FM page for a lot of similar music that I'm really into. Slainte! -GlamdringCookies 21:10, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- Why thank you! I will check out that link of yours on Monday morning — we're short a functioning computer at home and I probably won't have time to go to the library. - Anna Kucsma 21:21, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Stubs
Yes, I deleted the stuff I put here. Having already put this on hold, I decided to let this one go period. In part this is because I've begun putting infoboxes and the like on some of these pages, which really don't need much more in the way of text. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 13:32, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Usage of the User Monty Python userbox
Hello there...I have come up with a whole slew of new usages for the User Monty Python userbox. They are currently located in my sandbox. I would like your opinion before I put them up for general consumption, and if you have any other suggestions, please let me know.

Albums
I noticed that you are contributing quite an amount of information to various album articles. I assume you have checked out the WikiProject that deals with Albums. You might pay particular attention to the section on how to format the track listing (songs are in quotes, times offset by an ndash). Just a little pointer; keep it up! --Fisherjs 20:00, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up. One question, though — What are the rules about capitalization of foreign-language track titles? Many languages other than English have their own rules. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 20:11, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure. I actually just noticed today that User:Luigi-ish was moving foreign language articles to reflect some sort of capitalization rule that I am not familiar with (see my note on his talk page). Might be a question to ask on the Project page.--Fisherjs 20:35, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Also, the album template should go on the talk page and if it's just as easy, the standard seems to be to use the actual dash symbol instead of the text ndash;. It's no big deal; some folks with bots will come by and switch that so I wouldn't go back to change things, but for future reference.--Fisherjs 20:35, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Redirect bypassation
Hi, I noticed that you made an edit to bypass a redirect at Wales. However, WP:REDIRECT specifically forbids editing solely to avoid redirects - it introduces needsless verbiage at a net heavier load on the servers. Please bear this in mind when you are pondering circumventing redirects. --Sam Pointon 15:52, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Also, might I add, your recent contributions (a lot of edits in quick-ish succession, with -exactly- the same edit summary and change, even after I told you you weren't actually doing any good), combined with odd-looking behaviour like [1] looks rather strange. I'd like to know why you continued making this specific class of change without a response to my note above, before any assumptions are jumped to. --Sam Pointon 16:18, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, this was an honest mistake. Redirects can be easy to trip over, especially if the Henry VIII you're looking for is not the King of England. As for the continued un-redirecting, I don't check my talk more than once or twice a day if I'm not expecting something to show up there. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 16:34, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Except that Henry VIII goes straight to the English king? If another Henry VIII was intended, mass-changing redirects wouldn't help, because then the bad link would point to Henry VIII of England, which is just as bad, if not worse (because it looks deliberate). And, if I might ask, how can a big glaring orange banner on every Wikipedia page be missed? --Sam Pointon 16:41, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Big glaring orange banner? There were no big glaring orange banners. Which doesn't preclude, of course, the possibility that you and I have selected very different skins; what is an orange banner in your choice may be something else in mine. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 18:34, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Userbox
Sorry, just noticed your note - I'd be flattered to have my box added onto! :)

Redirects
You have tagged quite a few redirects for deletion (L'Échappée Belle (album), L'Échappée belle (album), Live at Selwyn Hall (album), Radical Mestizo (album), and The Arms Dealer's Daughter (album)). However, you have not listed them at WP:RFD. Nominating a redirect for deletion is a two step process and you have only completed one of them. Please complete the second step (see WP:RFP for instructions). If they are not listed in a reasonable amount of time, I will assume you no longer wish them deleted and remove the tags. Also, the {{rfd}} tag is supposed to go before the redirect and not after. If you could fix that as well, that would be great. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks! -- JLaTondre 01:06, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Cassatt
Thank you for correcting the vandalism, and reverting to my opening paragraph on Mary Cassatt. Much appreciated,

A Kind Thanks
Thank you very much. As you should know, The Passion of Joan of Arc is one of my favourite film works, and Voices of Light is one of my favourite music pieces.
Upcoming NYC Meetup
You wanted to know when the next meetup was being organized in New York City. Plan for Saturday, 9 December 2006. While you're at it. Come help us decide on a restaurant. See: Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC. Spread the word. Thanks. —ExplorerCDT 22:48, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Movie date corrections
FYI. I just corrected the years on two movies that you had put down as your favorites: All The President's Men and Apollo 13. You had both listed as 1963, but the former was made in 1975 while the latter was done in 1995. I was not trying to vandalize your page, just make corrections on your film years. Please bear that in mind. Thank you. Chris 21:00, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- No problem; I probably just missed the dates when modifying the cut-and-paste. Thanks for spotting it. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 15:31, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
Criterion collection navboxes
I should let you know that these will probably get deleted soon; after a discussion, a consensus developed that they are inappropriate - see Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Films/archive6#Criterion_Collection_infoboxes. Cop 633 16:33, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I only added a few — half a dozen or so — but I did see at least as many that were already there in other movie articles. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 16:39, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- I know. People were up in arms about them ... but then no-one could summon up the energy to remove them. Tells you a lot about human nature! Cop 633 17:02, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- It does, along with spam and vandalism. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 20:39, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Using links to reviews on albums
I noticed you added external links to allmusic.com in addition to the infobox on the early The Chieftains albums. I, on the other hand, think it's better to add reviews in the infobox, and remove reviews from the main article. Do you have some arguments on why your way is better? Spelemann 13:29, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- I tend to think it's good to have a link to the main album page on allmusic.com. If allmusic.com was the source for the review, but none of the other album info on Wikipedia (for that album), by all means remove the non-review link. If allmusic.com was indeed a/the source for any of said other info, I think it should probably be kept — sorta like citing books used in writing an academic term paper. — AnnaKucsma (Talk to me!) 21:00, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
