Hey there! You say you are new to this, so I thought I'd say hi and give you some helpful links for getting started in Wikipedia :)

Often people find the page on the five pillars of Wikipedia helpful, or you might like to look at a tutorial. Alternatively, you might just want to know how to edit a page. The Manual of Style can be useful once you get into editing, but is perhaps a little too much for now!

The most useful page for a new person, I think, is The Sandbox where you can try all sorts of edits and see what happens. A good place for experimenting. Oh, and if you're writing a message on a talk page (basically, anywhere you're saying something rather than writing in the encyclopedia) it's considered a good idea to type ~~~~ at the end of your message, so that the system puts your name and the date and time.

Oh, the introduction page might be handy too :D If you have any problems or questions, feel free to edit my talk page or type a question and {{helpme}} on your own talk page. Good luck! Skittle (talk) 12:56, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
