easyblock
Hiya, I see you're fiddling with easyblock today, but unfortunately that made the tab disappear for me. Would you recommend I copy yesterday's version of your script (which worked fine for me) to my own userspace and use that for now? (Watching) - Dank (push to talk) 03:39, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- Same problem here. Thanks, --auburnpilot talk 14:08, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed. Amalthea 14:49, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, it's working. - Dank (push to talk) 15:25, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was asleep. Thanks for fixing the bug, Amalthea. :-) —Animum (talk) 16:50, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- The tab just disappeared for me again, shortly after your edit to easyblock a couple of hours ago. - Dank (push to talk) 02:19, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed — I forgot the concatenation operator. >_< —Animum (talk) 02:22, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

moveRV
As introduced by xeno in User_talk:Vinhtantran#Re:_Mass_vandalism. I wish to import and localize your moveRV as a gadget in vi.wiki. I hope you would agree. Regards, Tân (talk) 04:55, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry that I can't help you—I should be leaving on vacation any minute now. You can ask Amalthea or wait until I return (which might be too long a time if there's vandalism). Sorry. —Animum (talk) 13:51, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- ...though I'm sure Animum wouldn't mind you taking the script, just note in the edit summary where it was taken from. –xenotalk 03:08, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- I thought that I wouldn't have Internet access, but I do. I'm glad to see that you've got it enabled! If it starts to malfunction, feel absolutely free to replace it with User:Mr.Z-man/moverevert.js, which is a lot less fancy and therefore probably a lot less prone to breaking. —Animum (talk) 19:13, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Please disable this script. "Selective restoration" is database-intensive, prone to breakage, and is all around an awful hack that should not be used. If specific restorations require hiding, users can contact an Oversighter. --MZMcBride (talk) 03:05, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- ...and weren't we supposed to get WP:RevDel one of these days? –xenotalk 03:09, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- It is indeed clunky and hardly a good solution, but the functionality is nice to have for those times when revisions need to be out of public view as soon as possible. For the time being, I will add a quick-and-dirty confirmation box so that it is used only when necessary; but I will gladly disable it when administrators get the lower levels of RevisionDelete. —Animum (talk) 19:07, 7 July 2009 (UTC)
Italic titles
Ciao, Animum, noticed you adding {{italic title}} to some literature articles (which I agree with for the most part) and thought you might want to read or contribute to the ongoing RfC on the issue. Regards, Skomorokh 02:25, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks! —Animum (talk) 02:30, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Easyblock again
Is there some user preference I can set so that Easyblock defaults the same way it has up until an hour ago, not changing the page after it blocks? It's interrupting my speedy deletion script. (Watching) - Dank (push to talk) 02:16, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed. Unless your preferences disabled it, not loading the page after a block was actually a bug; so it's a good thing that that happened. :-) —Animum (talk) 02:21, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
- Wow that's service. - Dank (push to talk) 02:24, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

Searching for an Adopter
Hi there, I'm searching for a more experienced user to guide me through.
Cheers ! Kgeurts (talk) 23:00, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm very sorry; but what with school and all, I don't think that I will be sufficiently active after the end of the summer to be a good adopter. There are plenty of willing, able adopters; try asking one of them. —Animum (talk) 18:37, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
There's been a conversation for a couple of weeks, mostly at WT:U, that I think suggests that I should stop using the standard uw-ublock softblock warning in most cases where I've been using it ... which means I can't use easyblock for this, now. We've been fiddling around, and the current text in cases where there are so few edits that WP:CHU doesn't need to be mentioned is at Template:Uw-shortublock. We don't yet know whether people will want this to be an "official", widely-promulgated user warning, or whether it should only be used by admins who are up on the latest consensus.
At any rate ... bottom line for me is that I can't use easyblock for what I do most now, which is a pain. Is there a way to either create a script that adds a tab that will do just this one thing, or that adds a configuration option to easyblock that would add this extra option in the "username" section? (The text isn't necessarily finalized, but it's close.) (Watching) - Dank (push to talk) 21:53, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
- I went ahead and made the changes myself, and it seems to be working, please see this. If we get wide acceptance, then you're more than welcome to steal my changes and call it "easyblock", in fact I'd be honored. - Dank (push to talk) 15:49, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- Done — (1, 2) Thanks for taking care of this while I was away from the computer. —Animum (talk) 17:48, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
