- I'm sorry, but I've not been very active for the past few months, so it would probably be in your best interests to look for someone who's more active than me. —Animum (talk) 00:19, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
easyblock.js
Hey Animum, just wanted to let you know that this change (from what I can tell) introduced a slight error into the script; unless this is intentional, it blanks the entire talk page when leaving a block notice. Not a big deal, just something to look into. Regards, –Juliancolton | Talk 23:11, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
- Done — While tending to the issue Xenocidic pointed out, I removed the part of the script that prepended messages. But as you can clearly see, I erased something I shouldn't have. Oops, sorry, my mad, and all that. —Animum (talk) 00:13, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- No problem, I'm just amazed that you understand what all that code does. Thanks for the fix! –Juliancolton | Talk 00:26, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

easyblock.js
First off...nice work on the easyblock script. I love it. I just wanted to know if it would be possible to tweak the default behaviour for the schoolblock? I'd like it to be appended, rather than prepended, with the paramater {{schoolblock|1=Blocked for X duration. ~~~~}}
included. Thoughts? –xeno (talk) 17:41, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
- P.S. Maybe some logic preventing us from blocking ourselves? Lulz. –xeno (talk) 20:05, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Since you have a lot of scripts do you have a page describing them all? -- Mentifisto 03:43, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
- As a matter of fact, yes: User:Animum/Useful scripts of mine. —Animum (talk) 00:04, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! (I'm not sure how I didn't find it; I did look in prefixindex...) -- Mentifisto 04:17, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, what's the easiest way to use Special:Massdelete? Just copy/paste them one by one? (Since it's likely that I can't just copy/paste all of Special:Contributions) That takes longer than deleting them manually. O_o -- Mentifisto 08:25, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, the easiest way is to copy-paste a list. (When I wrote the script, I assumed that sysops would have pre-made lists of pages to delete.) You've given me a new idea, though: a script that nukes the creations of a given user. Would that be better suited to your needs? —Animum (talk) 20:33, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- That would be hot. As it stands now, I have to copypasta to an excel and massage it a bit before using Twinkle's batch del. P.S. Were you able to work in the 1=Blocked for x duration ~~~~ as an added parameter for {{schoolblock}}ing? –xeno (talk) 20:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Heh, thanks for reminding me. Done. —Animum (talk) 20:40, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- cheers! P.S., I just tried the "delete revision" thingy and it seemed to not do anything. Just restored all the revisions, including the one I tried to have selectively deleted... –xeno (talk) 20:43, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- That's odd. It worked for me... —Animum (talk) 20:55, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- yea, i saw that. i'll futz with it more later, maybe I botched something. –xeno (talk) 20:56, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- Just tested it and it works fine. Sorry for the false alarm. –xeno (talk) 02:23, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

- No, no, it's quite alright—better to be safe than to be sorry. —Animum (talk) 03:11, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
- oh, another thing, perhaps the ability to configure it to not popup on hover, but click instead? (I r hassle u ;p) –xeno (talk) 20:48, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Mmmm
I just realized that your delete revision script restores stuff that was already previously deleted... Not sure if it can be written to workaround that? –xeno talk 22:06, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- Another lightbulb went on, that this is probably why the script seemed to fail for me the first time, there was already a deleted revision so maybe it got confused? –xeno talk 16:29, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- The script doesn't currently have any feature that keeps deleted revisions deleted (a bit of a downer for an oversight-emulation script, eh?), but I could code a bit that would, if that's what you're saying. —Animum (talk) 03:14, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- It's not something I'd use often, to be honest, so don't do it just on my behest. What I would like is a customization for easyblock to open on click rather than hover. (Had my first misfire today, =) –xeno talk 07:42, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I just wanted to notify you that I repaired your easyblock, but I realize now why you changed it. :focus didn't have an effect in my Win XP Firefox 3.08, but you probably weren't done testing.
Actually, I'd probably show and hide it using javascript, since that will also allow you setting a timeout to hide the block options again, and to reset the timeout if the mouse reenters the block options list. Amalthea 16:48, 25 April 2009 (UTC)- Yep, :active is doing good in Firefox. :) Amalthea 16:51, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- And in IE 7, Opera 9.24, and Safari 3.1.2 (which have some other problems though). Cheers, Amalthea 16:56, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

- Done — Even better! I was trying to have the drop-down list appear only after clicking over the tab, but I decided to use JavaScript only after I screwed up the CSS. :-P At any rate, at least it works! —Animum (talk) 17:01, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, you were tweaking the javascript, forget what I said about :active then. :) Amalthea 17:10, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- Heh, well, I was trying to tweak the CSS to do the same job, but you can see how well that worked. :-) —Animum (talk) 19:15, 25 April 2009 (UTC) 19:14, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Suggestion for your $ script
Do you think you'd be able to add an "RFA-finder" functionality? To find an admin's successful RFA (preferrably even when they've changed names - if possible?). –xeno talk 16:02, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
