Hello - when tagging pages for speedy deletion under the G3 category, as you did with Jack Byrne, please ensure that there isn't an older, unvandalized version to which you could revert. Please let me know if you have any questions. Cheers, Sarcasticidealist (talk) 07:34, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

your note

[edit]

to David in DC... you might want to consult with Nobody of Consequences regarding celona, as he has also noticed a distinct pattern: [[1]] regardless of that, however, he has been extremely disruptive, and i challenge anyone to find a single constructive edit that celona has made since the account opened --Jkp212 (talk) 23:30, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You may wish to take a look at the BLP concerns page, which concerns the editor's new found desire to break WP:BLP --Jkp212 (talk) 23:54, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please be advised....

[edit]

John Celona has been co-operating with the rest of us pursuant to a mediation on the Yarrow article. The only holdout there is person who John suspects of being a sock or meat puppet of DavidinDC. Those 2 people have been on Johns back trying to get him kicked off wiki for some time now, and though it looked as if David was now trying to at least appear as if he had stopped harrassing John in that manner, but the fact that he contacted you seems quite telling. Those 2 may well be gaming wiki for all it is worth. This is not an accusation but an observation of something that may well be so. Albion moonlight (talk) 23:59, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It sounds like an accusation, and it is a stupid one. --Jkp212 (talk) 00:17, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jake Morgan

[edit]

June 2008

[edit]

You have to stop this! You are an unbelievable vandal. Jake Spencer is a character. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edit.

Thanks for the info

[edit]

I am not sure that it matters who contacted who first. I just wanted you to know that pursuant to the Peter Yarrow article. John Celona is not the problem. He was at one time but SarcasticIdealist has worked miracles in that case. Anyway thanks for the info. Albion moonlight (talk) 01:16, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"...the fact that he contacted you seems quite telling." vs. "I am not sure that it matters who contacted who first." A guy could get whiplash trying to follow that quick turn. David in DC (talk) 01:35, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

User:KellyAna

[edit]

What did KellyAna get banned for? The King Gemini (talk) 00:52, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A page move probation would be a good idea, in this case. If he does return its likely that his edits will be under fairly close scrutiny, I expect. Thanks for the suggestion, Gwernol 02:39, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Take me as an apprentice

[edit]

Hi i read your page and was wondering if u would take me up as an apprentice. Oh and I can't figure out how to change my signature yet so I'm User:Neoonxalchemist. --Milst Epja 02:47, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GH children

[edit]

Hi, I noticed your comment on non-notable GH children articles. I don't know which articles they are (and don't care, LOL) but was wondering of merging them into List of General Hospital characters or something like Children of Salem, Days of our Lives might be more appropriate than deletion. I'm not super-familiar with the "DAYS children" article either, but it seems like a little blurb about the children of major characters may be informative in the context of a series. — TAnthonyTalk 05:19, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

LOL, you're right, it's really sloppy. One Life to Live children, One Life to Live minor characters or Dynasty minor characters are better examples of composite articles. — TAnthonyTalk 15:01, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The IP trying to add J.R. Chandler and Babe Carey...

[edit]

...to List of fictional supercouples.

I know which source that IP is trying to include. It's a Soaptownusa.com source, which would show up on the list if distinguished from another reference that also uses that site. But J.R. and Babe are not a supercouple, and were only a popular couple when Alexa Havins was Babe. We should not list J.R. and Babe with that source alone. Once, or rather if, a better source than that calls J.R. and Babe a supercouple, then, of course, we should list them. I will soon add another source for Edmund Grey and Maria Santos as a supercouple, and will probably remove the Soaptownusa.com source that attributes them as one, or might let it stay since their listing will then have an additional reference. Flyer22 (talk) 21:27, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, you really do see what's going on here, on Wikipedia. Does this mean I can't be the drama queen next time we interact? These pre-WWII Austrian Jewish writers have substantial reputations, I'm surprised at their limited presence on Wikipedia. It appears one editor wrote a handful of stubs on them. --Blechnic (talk) 06:07, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your edit and extra source

[edit]

That extra source here is packed with info that is suitable for expanding the Yarrow article. Perhaps John will learn from reading its contents. Thanks again.: Albion moonlight (talk) 00:10, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that source was helpful, thank you. --Jkp212 (talk) 06:42, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New articles

[edit]

Hi there, I just saw your Afd nomination on a brand new article today. Can I ask one simple question? How do you monitor new incoming articles to see if its spam or not? Anderson Biro was spotted by me by chance as I clicked on a random article but there must be a catalogue of new articles on Wikipedia somewhere. I don't want to bite newcomers, just see if a new article is spammy--like the example I cited. Thank You, Artene50 (talk) 09:55, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What?

[edit]

Ugh...who was fonting to you??? If you aren't going to aid in solving the problems, don't font to me. I was speaking with Flyer if you dont mind. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AugustAugust (talkcontribs) 01:34, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Joseph Didier foolishness

[edit]

I think this User:Presumptive person needs to be ganged up on, and blocked indefinitely. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:25, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads-up. This Presumptive editor is really getting to be a pain in the butt. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 03:27, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In my three years or so here, I don't think I have ever seen a user act in this way. It is really nuts. I've sent a note to an admin I work with on occasion to get his input on this. Right about now I could use a good stiff drink — except I never touch the stuff. But maybe I'll start now. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 06:45, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BARNSTAR!

[edit]
The RickK Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
For cracking the peculiar case of the murder of Joseph Didier, so to speak, and for keeping Wikipedia free of legal trouble. Great job! - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 08:14, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Banned user

[edit]

I have reverted article Ante Pavelic to 18 June version before edits from IP 72.75.xx.xx which are from IP range used by banned user.--Rjecina (talk) 14:35, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bianca Montgomery

[edit]

Hello I was wondering if you would mind casting your eye over the Bianca Montgomery article, and in particular the discussion page, under the heading "References!!". Your input and advice would be greatly appreciated.81.141.163.184 (talk) 18:31, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for my attitude and tone

[edit]

In looking back through my discussion with you (and others of your view), I recognize that I have advocated my position with such vigor that it has led to hard feelings and anger. I apologize completely for the role my tone and attitude have played throughout. This is my first real dispute on Wikipedia, and I have not handled it as I should have. Please accept my apologies. S. Dean Jameson 20:44, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: You do realize

[edit]

Saying "you have proven yourself a raging, almost habitual, liar" isn't helpful, and doesn't follow the whole "focus on the contributions, not the contributor" ideal. I strongly disagree with S. Dean's actions and position, but he did apologize. AniMate 22:41, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I really don't think I need to respond to this... again... in the same thread I responded to it the first time. -- tariqabjotu 05:38, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Celona RFC

[edit]

You're welcome to add yourself, but you need to provide evidence that you've tried and failed to resolve the dispute (in the "Evidence of trying to resolve the dispute" section). Cheers, Sarcasticidealist (talk) 00:28, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Claudia Antonia Zacchara (fictional character)

[edit]

Where's the prior AfD for this one? --Orange Mike | Talk 17:35, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To end edit warring in this article I am calling all editors of this article for vote on talk page--Rjecina (talk) 22:17, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, that's Santos. Indefinitely blocked. Thanks for the heads up. Best, Gwernol 21:23, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks

[edit]

I meant to redirect that article directly to the section on Russert's death, but just missed it. Thanks for fixing it. S. Dean Jameson 21:13, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

TomKat

[edit]

Your opinions on the debate on whether the article TomKat should be deleted would be greatly appreciated. Againstreason (talk) 23:36, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure, since AniMate watches the Supercouple article (which includes its talk page), he already knew that the TomKat article was up for deletion. Perhaps, he just didn't want to involve himself in our little battles again. But I see you'll do anything to try and get this article deleted, even if it means going to someone who you perceive as my enemy. Pathetic. Flyer22 (talk) 00:15, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am totally Switzerland. AniMate 00:16, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Scream trilogy

[edit]

Did you see the suggestions I gave on the talk page? - A Link to the Past (talk) 17:36, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks...

[edit]

When I examined your revert, I noticed that citation. I don't know how I missed it, and I feel cheesy asking for a citation on the talk page, when there already was one in the article. Nonetheless, thanks for fixing that. Best, NonvocalScream (talk) 18:22, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
