Re: WPMSE
Hi AngChenrui - thanks for the invitation, but I'm probably already involved in too many sections of Wikipedia. You're eright that i've edited the Comm.Games pages quite a bit, but most of my sports editing is specifically to one or two sports (football and cricket), so I woon't join at the moment. Good luck with the WikiProject, though! Grutness...wha? 09:49, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- Alright no problem. You can always help out anytime if you want to! Take care, ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 10:17, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Apology
I think I overreacted and would like to offer a sincere apology for my argumentative tone. --King Zebu (talk) 15:44, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- And just to clarify, my comments were specific to the content of the article and not the discussion page. Moreover, it was never my intention to insult anyone. --King Zebu (talk) 15:59, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, I accept the apology. Just note though that the comments could easily be misinterpreted; but I'll accept your apology. Remember we want to build a constructive atmosphere in WP after all :) Best, ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 04:43, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
When using {{WPMSE-Invite}}, I suggest you substitute the template. Strange Passerby (talk • c • status) 08:26, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- Also, I've reworded the template to make it a bit less templatised and more personalised. Strange Passerby (talk • c • status) 08:30, 15 October 2010 (UTC)
- Okay. I still can't figure out what substituting templates is for, but I'll have to re-read the guideline page. I think the reword is great. ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 08:34, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

WPMSE newsletter?
How would you feel about a WP:MSE newsletter for all participants of the wikiproject? I'd be happy to help co-ordinate it. Strange Passerby (talk • c • status) 02:56, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- Sure. My hand are tied, can't do much more stuff right now. I've yet to coordinate properly with WP:OLYMPICS. ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 02:58, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Signpost "Features and admins" column
Hi AngChenrui,
The Signpost's "Features and admins" page now includes a "Choice of the week" for featured articles, featured lists and featured pictures. Each week, The Signpost invites a different delegate, reviewer or nominator from each process to select what they think is the best, or their favourite, item, and to give their reasons. These reasons can be technical (e.g., related to the Criteria) or subjective, or both.
Would you be willing to do this with featured lists for next week’s edition? If you agree, promotions from Saturday 16 October to Friday 22 October will be eligible. They will be listed here by Saturday UTC, and we would need your text by Sunday UTC. Examples from previous weeks are accessible by clicking on "← PREVIOUS Features and admins" at the bottom. Cheers, Dabomb87 (talk) 13:19, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Sure, will do so. Just note that I'm considering changing my username, which if I'm decided will occur today or tomorrow. But I'll inform you if so anyway. Thanks! ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 13:24, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- OK, it's ready for you. Thanks, Dabomb87 (talk) 15:35, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- It's rather late in my time zone. I'll get it done with in the morning, which should be no more than ten hours from now aha. Thanks. ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 16:02, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- I wasn't expecting you to provide the descriptions, but thanks a million! Dabomb87 (talk) 23:36, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- Was worried the article wouldn't be ready in time, since it was already Monday, so I just went ahead and gave a write-up :) You're welcome. ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 00:53, 26 October 2010 (UTC)

SYOG medal leaders
Suggest you lower the inclusion criteria to two golds/three medals. As there were entry limits, very few athletes won even two golds (the only way to do so in athletics, for example, was to take part in the medley relays). It seems to me that keeping it at 3/4 would result in a very short list of no more than three or four. Strange Passerby (talk • c • status) 15:33, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Currently compiling any one who got more than one medal. I'll see what to do later. Thanks, ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 15:37, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
- Once you're done with it, please re-sort the athletes by G-S-B, rather than by sport. Strange Passerby (talk • c • status) 05:23, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
- Done. I provisionally saved it at that point in time, in case I lost the info midway. You can check for any mistakes :) ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 05:39, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

F and A
Hi, delighted to see that you're a FL delegate, and are helping out on F and A at The Signpost. Just one thing though—for some time now, chronological items have not been linked unless there's a particular reason to do so.
Thanks and cheers. Tony (talk) 10:12, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- PS we've developed a practice of generally not linking items in the blurbs for featured content, with the rationale that we want readers to go to the actual content first, and to divert to links from there. These links are almost always at the opening of the featured article/list/topic/portal. The notable exception is featured pictures, where there's no direct text associated with the picture (well, harder to hunt down on the description page); so we do link in the FP section, judiciously. Tony (talk) 10:29, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm sorry! I should have taken note of these protocol. I've corrected the article, you can check for oversight on my part. Thanks! ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 10:31, 25 October 2010 (UTC)
WP:MultiSports
Yeah, i'll join. Thanks for the offer, too. -Vaarsivius (Talk to me.) 09:30, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- No problem! There's no need to describe yourself as "Trainee member"; no one's junior or senior in any way, at least in WikiProjects :) ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 12:44, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
Youth Olympics medal winners
Hello,
You may want to defer the creation of further articles until it is established that these children pass Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Travelbird (talk) 11:26, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Hi there, I'll defer till this gets settled. You may want to note that "athletes from any sport [who have participated in the Olympics] are presumed notable" (WP:ATHLETE). By logical extension, actual medal winners are on an even higher level. And consider that the Youth Olympics are the foremost youth multi-sport event. Thanks. ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 11:51, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Olli Petra. The discussion continues there, even though I wasn't informed of the AfD :( ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 12:49, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, but in this context this competition refers to the adult Olympic/Paralympic games and not the youth one. the reasoning behind this is that people competing at the adult competitions are more likely to sustain a high and thus notable level of achievement in their sport than high school age athletes which often are never heard of again. Travelbird (talk) 13:16, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry, which competition are you talking about that refers to the senior games? Didn't get that sentence. We can continue the discussion on AfD since its likely to merit greater analysis, and we don't want a broken discussion anyway. Thanks, ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 13:38, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
FLC and ACCESS
As a regular at FLC, I'd like to draw your attention to ongoing discussion here about changes to the format of tables which will affect all existing FLs and all current and future FLCs. Your input would be welcome. Thanks for your contributions so far! The Rambling Man (talk) 20:20, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Will look through and provide input if I can find the time to. Thanks for informing. ANGCHENRUI WP:MSE♨ 08:02, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! 97198 (talk) 13:39, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
Since my previous concerns seems to of been addressed and in attempts to move along the FLC, I've left some more comments regarding the FLC. Afro (Talk) 08:14, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
