In response to your feedback

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for creating an account and thank you for your feedback. We appreciate that copyright is a real difficulty. Sadly, some of the best and most relevant images can't be used because of their copyright status! Don't forget you can always get help by typing {{helpme}} on this page. Is there anything more that we can help with right now?

The issue is not that the copyright is a problem it is that I as a newbie am not allowed to upload a perfectly well described 1921 image because I am not sure of the particular status (as it was a scan of a 1921 magazine) and was being cautious. It is now in the public domain and has been visible for three years with the permission of the maker of the image. (AndyBlatch (talk) 20:17, 13 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]

You can ask at copyright questions. I've always found them very helpful.--Harkey (talk) 20:32, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Addition

[edit]

Reverend Blatchford, thank you for your contributions. Your additions are wonderful, but however are written like an essay or like a sermon. Somebody will remove that sooner or later, and if that will happen, please don't be offended. Since Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, we have to write stricly from a neutral point of view. This is a policy called Wikipedia:NPOV. I think your intentions are good and some of the material can be added if formulated differently, I guess. I will give you a Welcome template now so you can read about how articles are written. Wikipedia:Core content policies is very important to read. Hafspajen (talk) 02:23, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
