Note

[edit]

You should not be editing your own page. It is a conflict of interest. Your wife should not be editing it either. You are unable to keep an unbiased position.

Andrew, there is a clear conflict of interest when you are editing the page about you. Stop it. It looks like you are trying to cover up the truth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.28.23.222 (talk) 22:34, 19 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I can second that. Although, I must say that you can make suggestions on the talk page and then you can get someone to review it at the WP:COIN noticeboard, I think. Thekillerpenguin (talk) 01:16, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information about you

[edit]

Hi. Wikipedia relies on what can be sourced to news and other reliable sources for information for articles. I have trimmed some of the negative information from your biography, but we may not be able to remove all of it, if it has a source. If the IP address editor keeps inserting negative information that is not well sourced, he will be blocked. You can contact me if you have further concerns. Conflict of interest

[edit]

Hello, Andrewobrenner. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 17:13, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Final warning

[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Andrew Brenner, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.

As a person with a conflict of interest YOU MAY NOT remove sourced content and edit war to try to maintain its removal. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 17:23, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So why is information which is WRONG allowed on the damn page?! I don't own or operate Prestige Music Studios Inc. It was closed over one year ago. Also, the information about the Recorder's office is also wrong. It was a political stunt by my opponent.

You can comment about it on the talk page, to encourage other editors to remove or edit it, but cannot edit your own page like this. One of the strengths of wikipedia is also a weakness. Everything must be sources. If the last reliable source says something, then that is the truth, until reliable sources say otherwise. I did however remove some of the recorders office content, as I felt the sources did not link you personally to the events close enough to have it be part of your biography article. August 2022

[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Andrew Brenner. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. You have been told multiple times how to deal with your conflict of interest. Ranting in the article and on the talk page is not going to help. Formally declare your conflict of interest, suggest changes on the talk page with reliable sources, and don't attack other editors. Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Kinu t/c 03:48, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
