The Sultans
[edit]Thanks for adding a pic to the Sultans of Ping page. I moved the pic into the band info box cos I think it looks better there. I hope you don't mind. Cheers Downunda 21:15, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Hey, no problem! I've got a few photographs of the Sultans, might post them up too... Andrewharrington2003 16:28, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Plesiosaurs etc
[edit]Hiya everone, I'm not a member of this project, but I'd be interested in helping out though. I've noticed that most of the pliosaur and plesiosaur pages seem to be in a mess, lots of dead links, stubs, and so on. I know they're not dinosaurs, but I can't seem to find any general palaeontology project so I suppose this project is pretty close. I've created and expanded some articles already (created Thililua, Dolichorhynchops & Dolichorhynchops herschelensis, edited Polycotylidae- feel free to chop and change at will), but there's an awful lot more... Anybody want to help? Andrewharrington2003 16:22 18 January 2007
- Hi Andrew,
- Thanks for your note on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Dinosaurs. You may be interested in Wikipedia:WikiProject Amphibians and Reptiles. I really wanted to get around to many of the extinct reptile articles, but as there was so much work to do on the dinosaur articles, I've never really gotten around to it. There may be folks, however, on the A&R WikiProject willing to help out.
- One problem I see, however, is that you've created an article for Dolichorhynchops herschelensis. While it is not a dinosaur, the WP:Dinosaurs team has agreed to only include animals down to the genus level. We decided seperate articles for each species was overkill. It might be a good idea, then, to include the information on the species in the genus-level article. Best wishes and happy editing, Firsfron of Ronchester 01:08, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Firsfron
- Ok, I've merged the Dolichorhychops articles, I suppose it can be a bit tedious getting down to an unneccesary level of detail. I might drop the reptiles and amphibians group a line soon. Thanks for the advice! Andrewharrington2003 15:23 19 January 2007

Nice work tidying up Carrigaphooca, although it's not really a castle...I've been searching around for some time for more info on it's history, very little found so far. + Ceoil 22:18, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
