Why this page

Way back, I proposed that State University should not redirect to an article on US Universities. Frankly, it seems a ridiculous idea. I wonder how students at the State University of Belarus feel about it? No support, however. (I can't find the proposal in the archive, but it's there somewhere. There is some subsequent discussion at Talk:State university system in which I was not involved.)

I've just got back to it, and added that and a couple of others to the DAB. But not convinced that's the answer.
