Hello, I'm wondering why you feel this team is not notable or the site lacks adequate resources. NY Times, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, ESPN, Washington Post and several sources. I realize it's a unique topic but it is historic and these were professional teams. The word softball can throw off those not old enough to remember. This was a well-funded and notable professional sport in an era of experimentation. I'd encourage you to re-consider. Nbeeker (talk) 04:02, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Nbeeker:I believe the article can be improved with sources added to it, so I have not requested deletion. Instead I added the citation tag to it because the sources used are mostly passing mention. Please read Wikipedia:Trivial mentions. Thanks, Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 04:05, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
I've added several sources that are more than a passing mention from the Minneapolis Star and Minneapolis Star-Tribune, as well as the Winona paper nearby. I believe it corrects your concerns. Much appreciated. Nbeeker (talk) 04:18, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
Declined Draft:Leiden Manifesto
Courtesy link: Draft:Leiden Manifesto
A very huge thanks for your quick review of the proposed Draft:Leiden Manifesto. I am quite a new wikipedian, so this is my first proposed article. Forgive me if I am wasting your time, but will the proposed draft be accepted if much more content is added? I had only drafted a short introduction, and submitted it to be reviewed, expecting to add more content in the following research period that I had planned. If I were to add detailed "Initial Motivations", "Synopsis", and "Reception" pages, would the article be considered fit for publishing? Redactedentity (talk) 05:31, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Redactedentity:Yes, if more material is added with corresponding citations I can see this as an article. When you are done you can leave another message here and I will expedite a re-review. Thanks, Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 06:55, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Andrew nyr:I am posting this message to let you know that the new Draft:Leiden Manifesto is now complete and resubmitted for re-review. Thanks for all your help. --Redactedentity (talk) 03:13, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

Tim Walz
I’m wondering why you reverted the edit by myself on Tim Walz, the sources were cited. Jacksonshatek (talk) 03:46, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Jacksonshatek:The editor before me and myself both thought that the language in the addition sounded very pov-like. A more neutral sounding addition would fit better. Additionally, editing Wikipedia from both an IP address and a user account looks very WP:SOCK like. Thanks, Andrew nyr (talk, contribs) 03:49, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Rodney Ferguson
Thanks for reconsidering the decision to relist. I hope my comment did not come across as harsh. It just gets frustrating at time when discussions continue to be relisted. Best, Cbl62 (talk) 17:43, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Cbl62: don't sweat it, its fine. Andrew nyrtalkcontribs 18:44, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
New Page Patrol December Newsletter
Hello Andrew nyr/Archives/2020,
- Year in review
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

- Reviewer of the Year
John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.
- NPP Technical Achievement Award
As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.
