Speedy deletion nomination of Rain lamps
[edit]Hello Andrew Sachs,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Rain lamps for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. WMartin74 (talk) 15:41, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 9
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Michael Gross (actor), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bent. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit]Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Snuggums (talk / edits) 20:25, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Good evening. Thank you for contacting me regarding my actions on Madonna’s Wikipedia entry. My intention was not to cause a conflict; I was just documenting one of her accomplishments. Obviously, I’m doing something grossly wrong, so, a little guidance … Madonna does have a Broadway credit from 1988 that I was trying to add along with its citation. How do I go about doing that? Please advise me Thank you again
Andrew Sachs (talk) 23:57, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
- Your addition wasn't "grossly wrong", but if an edit of yours is reverted, see the reverting editor's rationale in the edit summary before adding it back. Consult talk page if a dispute escalates. Her Broadway credit can be added within the 1986–1991 subsection of "Life and career" since it took place in 1988. Snuggums (talk / edits) 02:06, 21 September 2015 (UTC)

Kylie, Good afternoon. I'm a bit confused. I didn't write an "Article for Creation", for Susanne Bartsch, she already has an article. I just wanted to add that the museum at F.I.T. in New York City did an exhibit devoted to her work as a fashion designer. I used information from the F.I.T. website that had a citation. I wanted that entry review making sure there wasn't a copyright issue. I'm not sure why this fact and an accomplishment was rejected? Please advise.
Drew Andrew Sachs (talk) 19:15, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
Kylie,
In addition; that first Susanne Bartsch article you mention is mine. I was sure how to use the "sandbox" feature so I submitted this addition twice.

Good morning. I finished my first article with the generous help of another Wikipedia member. My article is about the play FULL GALLOP written by Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson. How do I "move it" for review and approved for placement in the public view? https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Full_Gallop — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrew Sachs (talk • contribs) 11:15, 12 July 2016
- You're all set: it can be found by anyone who searches for it or follows one of its wikilinks. Looks good, congratulations! FourViolas (talk) 15:35, 12 July 2016 (UTC)

Survey Invite
[edit]I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 19:41, 28 July 2017 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lucie Arnaz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Annie Get Your Gun (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
