[edit]Thank you for the kind and totally unexpected barnstar, Andrew6111. It has been my pleasure to work together on the Joan Murray article. It is indeed a complicated situation. The COI further complicated matters, but I think we are cleaning things up now. I fully understood the points you made in the talk page discussion and the AfD - the thing is that she meets the SNGs - subject notability guidelines, rather than GNG. SNGs tend to be more rigorous than GNG so I think it was pretty clear to experienced editors why she met notability. There indeed is a lot to learn here on WP, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, or you can always ask at the WP:TEAHOUSE or the WP:HELPDESK for more technical issues.
