User talk:Andrew's Concience
Hello I'm Andrew's Concience, How can I help you?
[edit]If you here about my deletion.
[edit]Yes I removed this: *I have watched this Wiki develop with both interest and frustraion. Initially the POV in the discussion pages was prevelant, but the article has come together as a good resource of events in an ongoing conflict. Recently a minibus/van was stopped en route from Gori to Tbilisi by 2 cars of armed men numbering 10-12, they self-identified as Ossetians. Against the protest of the passengers on the bus, they took a 25 year old girl. The bus driver said there was nothing they could do as the men were armed. God in heaven only knows what horrors that innocent girl suffered. I have this information from a primary source. Georgian, Russian, Ossetian or Abkhazian, some people lose their humanity during war. It is important to keep in mind the tragedy being suffered as we speak by peoples who reside in the areas where media has no access. It is my hope that this section will not be deleted from future discussion pages so that people recognize the tragedy they are recording. I pray this innocent girl went to heaven well as she surely did not go peacefully.
This didn't belong on a talk page. It was clearly meant to provoke an emotional response amongst our editors, for what ever reason. It was also un-signed.Andrew's Concience (talk) 06:50, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
South Ossetia talk: This terrible war
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors. - Fair enough what you said. No harm done, but we're also not allowed to remove messages like these from our talk pages. There was no complaint (no point really), because using civility we can all come to terms with the discussion. There were others who did so (I just posted the same on Nourmacil's talk page). You inability to edit the South Ossetia war page is not because your nametag is red but because you need to be autoconfirmed to edit semi-protected pages. That means your account has to be over 4 days old and have ten edits. Getting your name to change to blue is accomplished just by putting something on your main user page (not the talk page part of it.) Rmhermen (talk) 16:41, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
