Speedy deletion nomination of Dave Kloc
[edit]Hello Andek,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dave Kloc for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello, Andek,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username MurielMary and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Dave Kloc should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dave Kloc .
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|MurielMary}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Thanks for posting on my talk page about this article. I see you've added more sources, but I don't think they demonstrate notability for Kloc compared to the criteria for notability in WP's guidelines. For example, one of the sources (the one in the Washington Post) was an example of his work, not an article which discussed him and his work in depth. If you can add more reliable sources that show Kloc meets the criteria please do so. See the criteria I'm referring to here: https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Creative_professionals MurielMary (talk) 09:20, 2 August 2019 (UTC)
